painful to watch...again. It's disappointing to see very little improvement from year to year. They had over a week to plan this and it felt like they put something together last night. The staff has to be on the same page with the team. Do players want to dunk? It makes the players look bad, when they are being urged to put on a dunking show, but clearly they're not feeling it. They shouldn't have been put in that situation. They need to move things along quickly, quality over quantity. Where was Clutch? Any of the squads they employ to entertain the game crowds? THey need to have something going on, on the side, so fans aren't just sitting there bored. Players looked bored too. If they want sell out like the Texans, they need to do better than this. People aren't going to go just because Dwight asked.
It's easier to sell out 8 home games compared to 41. Overall I thought it was a good event and well organizaed. I got half off on a dwight shirt and a snapback cap. Brought 10 can goods and got Ariza autograph. Dwight and Howard were 40 tickets each sheesh. LOL Open practice was fun IMO. Dwight is freaking hilarious. Dude can be a stand up comedian when he retires. It was a good turnout too. I wish I didnt buy my opening night tickets 4 days ago. They had 10 dollars off tickets at the box office today. FML!!
