    Get off Twitter, simple as that. When will twitter jump the shark???

    I'm tired of reading news/sports stories that get all of their quotes from twitter. Yahoo is one of the worse, ESPN is starting to do the same. When will it end :mad:

    I agree, but it probably won't. Twitter is responsible for launching the last torpedo into the sinking ship call journalism.

    So many people missed your point makes me wonder if it's me missing it.

    Actually twitter is the best way to reach God these days as there are many lost souls online needing saving; prayers are too old school.

    I don't...that's a little too complex, so maybe I was right after all :grin:

    I came here because I thought other people could relate to seeing what I'm seeing, and also the slight chance of a direct eye it was aimed at glancing.

    Ironic (to me) would mean what I said seems stupid to smarter individuals here, but I don't see my statement as incorrect in any way to anybody.

    I knew it might rub a few "token" people up the wrong way and I should expect some responses like that which I got, but that doesn't yet make it incorrect. I'm happy to listen to rebuttals.

    The point was also to potentially spark some conversation though so I'm happy to roll with this. :)

    As for starting another useless thread: You guys really enjoy talking on the same ones for months on end? Can't think of anything better or?
