Yeah I think it's weird but people are speculating that all it takes for Memphis to give up Green is 2nd round picks. Kind of surprises me but I'm running with it. (See Thug, Bima)

Most definitely not. Though I kinda figured that would happen, so shame on me for hoping otherwise. Just thought it would be cool to scroll through a thread with only trade ideas stated simply. Now I’m even breaking the rules just because it turned into such a disaster.
I'd actually love this trade. You'd offload CP3's ridiculous contract. Jrue can guard any PG/SG in the game, AD can take care of penetration and any bigs, and Tucker can take care of anyone else. Jrue is still a highly competent ball-handler. You'd only lose the IQ of CP3 and the chemistry that Harden has established with Capela, but AD's talent is good enough to shorten the time it takes to develop chemistry with Harden. Those first rounds (presumably all generated from us) are all going to be fairly late in the first round. Jrue / Rivers Harden / Knight / Clark House / Green Tucker / Faried Davis / Nene / Hartenstein I'd go to war with that team.
There's no reason for Memphis to do this. Also, Capela is good, but I think he'll be a bit exposed without a HoF guard creating for him, so I think the Kings pass on this too
Exactly so enough with the Davis nonsense. We should be trying to snipe their abandoned role players instead.
Yeah I won’t pretend to follow Brooklyn too close; and I definitely see what he’s been doing. Thought maybe his free agency would play a factor, and always sensed there was an eventual Dinwiddie or Russell ultimatum. The thing is I do believe they’d be ok to lose him if he was offered big money, but unfortunately they know he won’t be. He’s restricted and not up there on list of free agents.
NBA is unfair. GS add Durant by giving up nothing. (not even a 2nd round pick) GS add Boogie by giving up nothing. Lakers are trying to add Davis and have to give up 5 young players. Rockets want Butler by giving up 4 Firsts, and still fail.
The whole team minus Harden. AD and JH play the rest of the season 2 on 5. If you triple team one of them, you can only double team the other, so you have no defensive counters. Throw in three department store styrofoam clothes models to shore up the defense.
Too bad we didn't catch them when Billy King was there: "And the corpses of KG and Pierce......for your unprotected first round picks for the next 12 years!" "Duuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh.......okay!"
James Harden and P.J. Tucker for Anthony Davis and Nikola Mirotic. The trade works without P.J. Tucker. You can add anyone you want with Harden. I added Tucker to dump his contract, but N.O. have other SFs that are just as good as Tucker. This trade fills holes for both teams making them both more competitive with G.S. Houston Chris Paul Eric Gordon Nikola Mirotic Anthony Davis Clint Capela New Orleans Jrue Holiday James Harden P.J. Tucker Julius Randle Jahlil Okafor
