The Rockets... Before Harden - THREE consecutive lotteries With Harden - FIVE consecutive playoffs (mostly HCA 1st Round)
it’s true...u can’t doubt @DonKnock this is from an article “According to Basketball Reference, Paul has the sixth-highest career Player Efficiency Rating (PER) of any player ever; Win Shares Per 48 Minutes (WS/48) essentially cannot tell the difference between him (.2504) and Michael Jordan (.2505); Box Plus-Minus (BPM) says only Jordan and LeBron James are his superiors. His career 122.69 Offensive Rating (OffRtg) is the highest of all time. The judgment of the sport’s holistic metrics is that he is one of the best basketball players who ever lived.”
CP3 will help everyone out, especially Harden. James will still be guarded tightly, but Chris will get him open looks against the best teams, and he will knock them down.
LOL "I" asked? coach/morey decides the strategy not me.. and CP3 will have a say in that fat & stupid LOL
Only if it's okay with Cp3.....it's like you would. You don't get that kid? Btw, you haven't disproved you're a chubby fella. Not saying you should. Just that recognize who you are. You're fat and no one likes you. Nobody. SIL
Why is there always someone to ruin every thread? C'mon guys, peace, we're living the good days! We have CHRIS FREAKING PAUL waiting to be integrated to a GREAT team. We won 55 games and now we have basically an improved Harden, improved EGo, much improved Capela, better defensive Ryno, as well as we exchanged bev, Sam Delker and Trezz for CP3, Mbah a Moute and Tucker!! And you're measuring your dicks here?
Defense Rig https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/dws_career.html Don't see one for net rating
Great thread, but many people will nevertheless overreact and attribute it to silly things like lack of mid range shooting or a dip in someone's form or MDA's rotations. Fact of the matter is, it will take time to fine tune how much Chris Paul will play PG while he's on the floor. My prediction remains that Paul is going to evolve into an incredible SG unless Harden is off the floor or has too much defense committed to him. Luckily, he is our best defender and vocal defensive leader so he will list us immediately in that area.
The Individual ORtg stat at BBRef does not cover all NBA years. I think they start at 1978 or something. Certainly no years for Wilt or Oscar or etc.
It's not defensive rating but defensive win shares. Defensive rating is here : https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/def_rtg_career.html Here is formula : https://www.basketball-reference.com/about/ratings.html Problem with those defensive ratings is this : formula favors big men. There are famous amazing defenders very low on those lists, like Michael Jordan, John Stockton, Garry Payton etc . About net rating ... i found box plus minus instead : https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/bpm_career.html CP3 is .. wow .... third of all time They say the most complete and fair offensive formula is win shares per 48 minutes https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/ws_per_48_career.html CP3 is also third of all time. At the beginning of 2017 he was first on this list but then injury happened.
