Spoiler Yeah, no. Get ready to hear this CRAP everywhere from here on. And dudes taking their chicks to the 'premiere.' I don't know, I think I got my period just seeing people posting and talking about this trailer. Dang it... and I was saving myself...
My wife loved the first one; I'm guessing I'll end up having to watch this one at some point too. Adam from Workaholics was pretty funny.
Haha. The first one is a guilty pleasure. The lady dragged me to see it and it was a pleasant surprise.
funny story about Adam, I heard on a podcast that when he went in to the audition he hadnt read the script so he thought the movie was about baseball because of the title. anyways they wanted him to sing a song and he didnt have one prepared so he started singing some TV theme song from the 80s like family ties or something and got the gig.
A couple of things about being single that are really great, especially in regards to tripe like this: 1) I don't have to waste close to $50 to see this in addition to eating out for a meal 2) I can use the time that I would be watching this POS movie to doing something else that I would like to do 3) Finally I can say that I didn't regret having to get 2 hours of my life back For you poor guys that have to go see this - I just hope you get rewarded by your girl afterwards - if you know what I mean. That would be the only redeeming thing, IMO, in going to see something like this.
Luckily my wife doesn't like crap like this, so I never even heard of it. Not to say she doesn't like some crappy stuff that I occasionally get dragged to, but at least no RomComs.
Yeah, I get it.. Some of you guys are not secure enough in your masculinity to allow yourselves to enjoy a truly good and fun movie like Pitch Perfect.. But that's ok.. I loved the first one, and hopefully the sequel will manage to retain the same charm. The rest of you guys can just watch Expendables 4 or whatever..
First one was far more enjoyable than I thought it would be, to the point where I'm kind of looking forward to the sequel. Every now and then I can dig a movie with songs, and this falls in line with movies like Tangled and Moulin Rouge and Across the Universe where I came away pleasantly surprised.
