While player rankings may be true... I have been a Young fan for a while, and getting a wing player that does most things well, including defending on the perimeter... we need more rebounding (hence the need for a PF) and interior defense (again, the need for a PF), and getting someone that consistently knock down the midrange (despite Moreeeee's cybertheory on 3's and dunks... see Aldridge, Lemarcus and Duncan, Tim), which all makes me want Millsap more, but we Rocket fans tend to overvalue our own assets, so if the best we can get is Young... I say go for it.

Not shocking to me, when bev got the start before the season I already knew what was up and I posted it here. It's a business & morey is one of the best in it.

1. morey wanted to see if bev could compete at the starting pg level on his "cheap contract" before he made a move.

2. Signing brooks "vet min contract"

3. drafting canaan "2nd round cheap scale rookie contract"

4. Same thing goes with him signing camby this summer, asik & Lin have been on their way out. He wants that cap space to bring in players on expiring contracts to help WIN NOW, another star in a trade, or free agents this summer 2014

 

There were rumors of that Morey was shopping Asik and Lin all throughout the offseason.

 

LOL… just wow. I hope you do realize Okafor is very likely to be bought out this year right? Also the Rockets already had a trade lined up earlier in the year with the Wiz with Asik and you know why they didn't bite….. OKAFOR'S CONTRACT.

If the Rockets traded Asik & D-Mo and got nothing but the contract & broken corpse of Okafor who was likely to get bought out either way then Morey should be fired.

Yes I do realize Okafor's condition. It's an expiring contract Dobro. It is an asset to make trades with at the deadline.


When the Asik/Lin deal goes down don't be surprised if we get back at least 1 big expiring deal and possibly even two.
