Agreed - that second video is pretty damming and shows him completely losing control and I'm not even sure who knocked out the guy at the end of the video. The Sixers would be VERY WISE to come down hard on this kid before this gets any further out of control. We were all young once but very very few of us got into two seperate fights on the same night and was going 108 a month earlier. Hinkie's time cultivating professional losers isn't going to last much longer and if he wants to salvage the best prospect he has had in his extended losing period, then he better grab the Okafor by his horns and put his ass in line now.
...and by the way - this is the problem with the Hinkie strategy in general. You spend all your time building a losing culture, and you get good at it but once you get some talent to work with, you have to also have the skills to build a winning/accountable culture and so far Hinkie hasn't proven he can do any of that.
1st- a video came out showing Jahlil Okafor getting into a fist fight outside of a Boston club after losing to the Celtics. Apparently a Celtics fan heckled Okafor by yelling the "76ers suck" and that started the fight. 2nd- news report came out that prior to this Boston fight at some undetermined time in Philly, someone pulled a gun on Okafor after Okafor punched him 3rd- Okafor got caught speeding at 108mph on a bridge with a normal speed limit of 45. 4th- Okafor got caught trying to use a fake ID at a bar in Philly 5th- a 2nd video showing Okafor getting into fist fight at Boston (not sure if it's the same fight as #1, seems like a different fight)
As bad as the team is this year, they did get to the WCF this past year so let's not put Morey in the same camp as Hinkie. Morey has grown something that has translated to success at times in the NBA - even though I agree accountability has not been part of the culture.

76ers reportedly suspend rookie Jahlil Okafor after video surfaced of two separate beatings in Boston and another beating last night in Philadelphia.
What a joke. They only suspended him two games and only after the second video with the blood and him initiating the fight came out. I am a fan of another rebuilding team with a bunch of young guys and i am certain that if anyone had done half of okafors he would be suspended 10 games. He would also go listen to mentors and speakers and psychologists. Last year the coach disciplined a young player for having a disagreement in practice... The 76ers not only have no vets but it seems they dont give a damn about proper discipline. The patients run the asylum.
