He got snubbed out of the #1 pick, got left in the cold for #2, and landed up in the worst team to get drafted for winning. He's also 19 years old and was big man on campus at Duke. I can see why he's upset, but he'll adjust, or find himself out of the league soon.

LMAO yet another report comes out about Okafor. He tried to use fake ID. What kind of idiot is an NBA franchise player a top pick, extremely high profile and 6-11 270 pounds and tries to use fake ID like noone will recognise him?
The guy seems to be very stupid and reckless. Only in such little time so many incidents one more stupid than the other.
I don't think the Sixers are to blame, it's the kid with the extremely poor judgement. The organisation should bring in mentors and chaperones but this one needs an intervention and more strict measures apparently.

"Security guards." Is that the NBA's term for "babysitters"?

Morey and Hinkie seem to lack analytical data for headcase-level.

    A Beverley-Harden-Brewer-White-Okafor line-up would implode the charts.

Drafting is an art not an exact science. A lot of young people who may seem troublesome get over their issues for example Cousins (at least he got over most of his issues).
What is troubling to me is that he and the team decided on this only after all the crap he has been doing were published. I see the team was enabling his behaviour instead of punishing him and reprimanding him. That's about the worst you could do imo.
He should be suspended from the team only as to see that his actions have consequences.

Same last year with Embiid. It had to be leaked to have measures taken and Embiid waking up a little from his behaviour. No punitive measures aside from sending him home from a road trip .

The second video that came out today is even worse than the first. The police is now investigatin and charges will likely be made against Okafor. He is clearly shown attacking a man and throwing him bloody unconsious to the ground.
The team hasn't even suspended him yet.
