    I like them breaking up the righties at the top of the order. It's a shame that for the forseeable future, or until Reed turns it on, that their young core at the top of the order is all RH. Why couldn't Yuli be a switch hitter?

    Nice quick inning for Keuchel. Springer goes boom. That's how you start a game.

    I guess they're not allowed to both be good?

    Oh, and the Rangers' slapdick fielding strikes again. 2-out error followed by a 2-run jack by Valencia in the first. Mengden needs to bring it and help out his hometown.

    Wouldn't that just make Bregman an "extra" plus?

    He looked smooth on that 2nd inning play.

    Cubs are probably the only better young team.

    It wasn't a good play by Tucker though. That jump is unnecessary if he takes a good route to the ball.
