Win or lose i'm looking forward to not spending the entire day listening to people complain about "terrible" calls against the Nats. The Astros always seemed like the Golden Child and had people around the league rooting for them, but the Taubman situation sure seems to have made them a target for everyone's hatred. That Turner interference play ended up absolutely being the correct call and the super long delay for the "review" (was there ever a proper explanation about what the umpires were doing with that?) probably went into Harris giving up the HR to Rendon. I don't remember anyone complaining about the Reddick catcher's interference the next day and that actually had real consequences. Sigh. It was just nice after seeing Reddit and Twitter hate the Rockets for the past 5 years to have a team that wasn't widely hated.

I haven't posted once in the world series thread out of fear that I would somehow jinx the team into a loss. If we win, i'll take credit for it and if we lose, it's probably my fault. Seriously though, my nerves were terrible yesterday and now for some reason I am calm. Don't know what to make of that but I hope it's a good sign. However, when the game starts I will likely look like this.

Win or lose, weve had some hella moments this run. Correa walkoff, Jose walkoff, Bregman grand slam.

Cant ask for much more. I won't trip about a loss here. The moment Jose hit the walk off will still be #1 regardless of what happens tonight. Such few times in life you feel something like that moment.

Scherzer rec'd a cortisone shot to "loosen" him up. Don't be surprised if he's not able to have as much control. That entire area
I was just about to post that I am strangely calm today after last night......

Well Suzuki is out of the lineup.
Hopefully Scherzer follows him in the first after we knock him around!!!

Since no one guessed...his slash line in those games is .135/.188/.225. I knew it was something putrid but even I was in shock how bad it was...I mean it’s almost impressive in a sense.

Can we put Yordan in LF and just let Greinke hit for himself instead of Reddick?

(for those who can’t tell yes I’m joking)

Kyle Tucker should be in RF and Reddick on the bench.

Feel good about it. We traded for Greinke for moments like these. Cole, Urquidy, Osuna in the pen. Astros offense has been in this spot.
