Correa's approach this PS has taught me this: He seems to be sacrificing his contact skills for power. Too aggressive. Yes, he's had some key homers, and of course we wouldn't be here without them, but man, very unprofessional-looking at bats.
Correa has been pretty underwhelming this feels like it’s gonna blow up any second on our end and SS isn’t sitting unless he starts walking batters and that looks about highly unlikely
This is bad. The whole lineup is discombobulated on how to approach Strasburg now. Swinging early or first pitch worked well in the first, but now that he's settled in, half of the Astros still are still swinging first pitch and half are them are now in wait mode, and he's not giving either of those options stuff to work with. Mix that in with a few hero ball swings where base hits would've been fine, and you've got a real cluster**** on your hands against one of the statistically-best pitchers this postseason.
Same **** over and over for Correa. Watches balls straight down the middle and swings at a ball 8 feet outside for strike 3 smfh
Would be nice to be up big, but this is probably about as good of a scenario you could hope for. Obviously we'd rather be up one, but facing Strasburg and it's a one run game. Bullpen has to just keep holding and hope the bats come through.
If the Astros lose it will be the third consecutive close out game he starts that the Astros will have lost. WTF.
