    I just spent like 20 minutes on FanGraphs trying figure out how JV fares with the bases empty (windup) vs runners on (stretch). I figured that might be a factor. Nope. He's actually got lower opponent average and WHIP with runners on. He's just having an off night.

    Also, if you feel like perusing the first page of FanGraphs, you'll find an article pointing out that Stephen Strasburg is putting up historically good numbers this postseason.
