Way too many wasted opportunities. That's the story of these first two games.

I would like to imagine that momentum would swing back the other way but we're running out of time.

It HAS to happen next game. HAS TO.

I dont see us being a better team next season. We will lose Cole, lose Yuli/Reddick, we have to find a replaceable catcher.

This was our best team so far. Next season the Yanks young core will only be better and you cant expect the Rays/Red sox to be worst next season. THIS IS OUR YEAR.

Law of averages say yes, this will happen. In fact, Grienke will have an RBI.

Can Brantley play RF, so that Alvarez can play in Washington?

Congratulation to nats for winning world series. To everyone who thinks the astros have a chance, I don't think this vaunted historical offense will ever show up.

What a crushing blow for the fans. You could tell the whole city was in love with these guys for the last few years. The Astros were the one team in Houston who knew how to do it right but now the curse of H-Town catches up with them again.

Last year was a minor let down but this year there was no excuses. People say it’s still only game two but damn when u lose both games with your two best pitchers, at home, and your offense is MIA?

If they end up losing, it will really be hard to come back from this for the fans and the team. Window maybe closing, especially if we lose Cole.

Well, it is hard to be optimistic at this point. Astros might get swept. They look completely outmatched. The Nationals were a tropical disturbance that suddenly turned into a super storm. It is like the Pelicans barely making the playoffs last year and winning the championship from the Warriors.

Once the Astros kick the crap out of the Nats in Washington then we will continue this conversation back in Houston.

Gonna need greinke to show what he is made off. Win that game and get back on track.

Next game is the series, make no doubts about that.

So much so that if we win the next game I think the tides start to turn, right now these guys (Nats) are as hot as ever and can do absolutely nothing wrong. We have to expose the magic of their team and put a dent in their confidence and maybe things will break our way.

    Playoff Reddick happens again.

His good defense is worth mentioning, but yeah, not a plus playoff player.

Greinke will get the win, we take two of three in Washington and send it back home.

I try not to play that game. You can pick a number of teams that had great futures and it didn’t pan out. Cubs, Yankees, Red Sox not making the postseason. You just never know
