13 years later we give out a (kind of) payback sweep of the White Sox.

    Awesome f***** series !!!

Four Wins and some Stat Pad

The 7-game Season Sweep vs Chicago is the most for the Astros vs any opponent in franchise history. Previous record was Six Games -- PHI '05, PHI '04, and MON '01.

And, they improved their 1 run win stats with 2 of them.

Like a 21 year old rookie. He did hit his first ball pretty well, but right into the shift b/t where 1B/2B would normally be.

I was interested in how things have changed since the White Sox swept the Astros 4-0 in the 2005 World Series, and I ended up putting together a graph.

Wait, are we in best regular season record we've ever had territory? It seems like we're close.

And we haven't even looked that great. Feels like mid 90s rockets all over again. A win is always expected.

Before the last couple of years, that 98 team and the 86 team were my favorite seasons. Could have won it all either year

The Mets were not beating Scott in a game 7... yea I know you never know in baseball...but they were not beating Mike Scott

The 98 team was the best in baseball, just couldn’t beat Brown

The end of those two seasons sure did bother me a lot more before we finally won it all last year...now they are just two great seasons and fun teams

2005 still hurts very much. I honestly enjoy beating the White Sox more than beating the Rangers.
