If Neshek was signed to be a setup man or closer, he certainly was a terrible signing (and will probably post around 1 WAR for the $12.5M we paid him over 2 years). He actually is posting worse FIP, xFIP, & SIERA than last season, though I don't see that as a problem as long as he only faces RHP. Nunez & Dozier clearly deserve it more, but their normally shallow positions are incredibly deep this season. Xavier Cedeno is another one of those guys from those terrible pens that has found success.
Terrible is a pretty strong word. They didn't overpay to get him... They were building a bullpen essentially from scratch... And prior to the injury last year, he was very good. They've limited him (or maximized his strengths) this year, in sporadic/intermittent fashion, so not going to delve too much into those small sample metrics.
Incredible stat Giles' appearance last night was only his 4th 1.0 IP - 0 H - 0 BB outing this season. Ken has appeared in 38 games. Pretty sure at least 90% of those he entered beginning the inning (with intention to finish the inning). 4x in 38gms Good news his ERA is has dropped significantly each month... 9.00 - 3.97 - 2.31 - 0.00

No Rocket will either Would be a huge win Fister can surrender a couple runs, we just can't get shutout. Sale isn't invincible with his near 3 ERA and <1 K / IP. Make him work a little. Our lineup is doing well 1-9.
Haha, nope the full 18....wasn't playing back at the tips, old enough to know better now...made a lot of putts Let's kick Mr. Sales a$$ today
Not true, According to Baseball-Reference the line vs lefties is average .240, OBP .315 and slugging .436 with an OPS of .751 In 470 at bats 113 hits. Yesterday it was proven that without the bullies, we had a very good thread of play by play, lets see how different is with you guys back.
And it was ALL BASEBALL RELATED. Today, i will not read your posts, i did today and this is the only one i will answer from the guys i have in my ignore list, which funny to say, i just open the thread and all the guys in my ignore list just wrote, lol So for all the guys problaby will read a lot of non baseball related post thanks to the bullies from the forum, enjoy
