Ah...that day that Courtland Finnegan became Courtland Innegan...because Andre beat the F out of him. Good times.

    Good times.

There is a major shortage of competent LT's and I can see us easily net a second rounder. But the negotiation should start with 1st rounder. With how well we played this week, we're in no hurry to deal Duane Brown, so we won't be leveraged for low ass picks.

I can't stop watching the highlights. Why is d-hop going bowling after the game? can't he wait a day or two.

Nope, hold on to him and make him lose more money till he shows up then don't play him. The Texans need to make an example out of him so that they can let other players know the Duane Brown level of fu*kery isn't going to end well for the player.

What did CJ go down with? I thought it was a concussion. He is our best te at creating seperation. Offense can look even better with him.

He's had 2 concussions this year already, they are giving him extra time to get right so they put him on the IR.

    TOP 5 GRADES:
    • WR DeAndre Hopkins, 92.2 overall grade
    • S Andre Hal, 87.9 overall grade
    • QB Deshaun Watson, 87.0 overall grade
    • S Marcus Gilchrist, 80.5 overall grade
    • DI D.J. Reader, 79.9 overall grade

    PERFORMANCES OF NOTE:
QB DESHAUN WATSON, 87.0 OVERALL GRADE

With all rookie quarterbacks, there is a learning curve and history typically tells us when a rookie quarterback goes up against a Dick LeBeau defense, they stuggle mightly. However, Watson was able to take the Titans defense apart, going up and down field at will. He only threw one turnover worthy throw and had no other dangerous throw while able to fit the ball into small windows. He connected for three touchdowns when kept clean from pressure.

WR DEANDRE HOPKINS, 92.2 OVERALL GRADE
Any quarterback with DeAndre Hopkins should be able to take advantage of most secondaries, Hopkins caught a pass against five different defenders and one of the two incompletions thrown his way was a poor pass by Watson that didnt even give him a chance to make a play on the ball. He finished the game with a 96.6 passer rating when targeted.

S ANDRE HAL, 87.9 OVERALL GRADE
With the woes of the Titans offense, the biggest benifcator was safety Andre Hal, as he was targeted four times allowing just one catch. He hauled in two interceptions and saw just a paltry 9.4 passer rating when targeted.

EDGE JADEVEON CLOWNEY, 80.2 PASS-RUSH GRADE
While the Titans offense struggled to move the ball, the Texans defensive front seven failed to really establish themseleves as a pass-rushing force. Clowney was the best pass-rusher of the bunch due to a sack and bating a pass down at the line of scrimmage.

Amazing game when you consider JJ Watt did NOTHING!!! When he gets back in shape and rhythm we will be scary.

I'm a little skeptical that he'll return back to form. Hopefully this isn't his 100%, but I don't feel too optimistic about it. Can he truly get back to that level after these surgeries?

Not just that but except the one sack, which was awesome, the trio of Clowney, Mercilus, and Watt did basically nothing all game long. They combined for 3 tackles, 1 sack, 1 pass defended, and a grand total of 2 QB hits.

When you get that little from your big guys, it's great that you still won.

I wouldn't say NOTHING. He was close a few times. I think he got a couple QB hits. He has lost the extra step that allowed him to beat Mercilus and Clowney to the punch. But eventually defenses will forget about him and he'll get his sacks in.

It is hard to say. But he's been good against the run and has been getting hurries, just not sacks

Watt’s still playing with a dislocated/broken finger that’s getting aggravated every game.

May have to go to a club-mitt.

As long as the back is sound, and he’s pain-free from that, he’ll get his timing back.

Watt’s technique has always been his forte... just as much as brute speed/strength.

Who is that? I am sorry but I have never heard of him.

Are you mistaking him for Elden Campbell? Elden primarily played for LA not any Houston team

Maybe @Fulgore can let us know

Yea I think he's coming back to at least 90% of prime Watt it's just going to take him some time. And when he does, look out!!!
