can you really disagree that the Texans basically dominated (if "destroy" is too strong a word for you) the Colts, save for a couple of late TDs for Manning? my point is it's ridiculous to predict whether the Texans are Super Bowl bound or Playoff fodder after one game. Or in your case in 2010, two games. you KNEW they were not going to make the playoffs? really?
We always have Ian Eagle, damn. This game shouldn't be too difficult for us. Hope Arian can just rack up TDs and yards for my fantasy.
What's wrong with Ian? I'm wondering what Miami's projecting their rookie QB to do against a top ranked D like the Texans. Could quickly become a massacre.
holy crap Vegas has Texans at -12, biggest line of week 1 Hard Knocks must be causing a ton of action against the Dolphins, lol
Garrard cut, Johnson cut, Davis traded, Steinbach retired, Tannehill starting---doesn't sound like a team trying to win now. With that said, I'm sure they'll be battlefightin' out there.
Dolphins starting RG out for year More bad news, and LT Jake Long is dealing with a sprained MCL and might not play 100% Bring the pain!
I hope the outcome is different the last time we faced a rookie head coach and rookie quarterback in a season opener. Back in 2009 the Jets weren't supposed to be any good and they blew out the Texans. I know the defense is worlds better than back then, but the high-powered offense is about the same. The Texans scored zero offensive points. I don't care how good your defense is, if your offense can't put points on the board, you're not going to win many games. All the Texans need to do to win the game is show up, play with intensity and don't shoot themselves in the foot.
Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts are probably turning into my favorite announcing team. They seem to have good chemistry with each other. In week 2, the Texans will get Marv Albert and Rich Gannon, week 3 we'll see Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, and Eagle/Fouts return in week 4. Btw, Fouts lost his adult son about a month ago. He worked a couple Chargers preseason games, but Sunday's game will be his first in the booth with CBS since his son's passing.
