You mean post Yao era. They made it that year he was in Chicago with his trainer Tim. The year when he was on the radio telling fans that the Lakers would win it all.

Better being a real Rockets fan than a fake Atlanta Hawks fan.

TMac deserves hate, he threw the city under the bus after not delivering. People act like he was an all time great yet he could never carry a team past the first round. You can make excuses but hey Garnett had a crap supporting cast. Lebron had a crap supporting cast.

KG didn't get past the 1st round till he got cassel until then he was like tmac. How many 1st round has kobe been out of w/o Gasol and Shaq? Of course I think KG and kobe are way overrated.

He never threw the city under the bus. He said if it isn't my guys(the rockets) then it might be the Lakers.

Tmac had Yao Ming, like Ron Artest did
oh we won with Ron Ron, 1 year, 1 playoff series victory

Not saying Ron was a better overall player, but a better leader and definitely tougher. The Rockets had an attitude.

Plus the REALNESS factor. Ron wasn't lying to the team or fans, and he spoke from his heart.
Remember when he was talking about playing hoops with some dude who died on the court or something.

Plus Ron was a friend of Clutchfans.

so if you put Tracy McGrady up vs the hologram of Tupac.
The hologram of Tupac will always win in REALNESS.

Typical Tmac fan. Clueless, dumb, and oblivious to reality.

The only time the Rockets made the second round during the McGrady era was when the loser was pouting on his couch in his living room.

They also had a lot of young guys on the bench who could actually perform once in a while.

Are you senial? Do you deliberately forget things? Or are you just stupid? Tinman, you are the most annoying human being on the planet. Go choke on a turd.

You must be watching Tmac rehabbing in Chicago in 09 when we were playing against the Lakers in the playoffs.

    apollo33,

all you have to do against the TOFs is to tell them what really happened in the real world and they get mad.

Tracy was rehabbing with Tim Grover when the Rockets were on their playoff run.
    The number zero.
    Kobe.
World Peace aka Ron Artest has made an impact on both the Rockets and the Lakers. He has a ring and his toughness made both teams better in the playoffs.
McGrady gets booed by Rockets fans.

They don't like any of these things.
    Also say this.. "KOBE".

hahaha. nobody takes a TOF seriously especially ones that don't pay up bets.

it goes to prove that Tracy fans won't accept reality. the reality of that bet was that he lost cause Tracy didn't perform to the standards that the TOF wanted .

I made several bets for the playoffs. If I won or lose I don't care cause the money goes to Clutch. A real Rockets fan, not a TOF.

Are you joking? Please tell me you're just trolling. In the 04-05 season the starting lineup most of the time was Yao/Mcgrady/Juwan Howard/David Wesley/Bob Sura. Clarence Weatherspoon started 18 games that season. 18 games. T-mac had a HORRIBLE supporting cast outside of Yao. When Weatherspoon starts 18 games for your team that year your hopes of the playoffs are gone. Oh wait, what's that? We still make the playoffs? Yeah we do, and we push the Mavericks to the brink only to get screwed by the refs.

Fast forward to next season, 05-06 and it's basically the same supporting cast except with the addition of Rafer Alston. That year injuries shortened both Yao and T-mac's season so that was that.

Next in the 06-07 season, the Rockets add Luther Head, Shane Battier, and Chuck Hayes. Still an overall bad supporting cast considering Juwan Howard started 38 (thirty-eight) games that year. We make the playoffs and lose that close 7 game series to the Jazz.

Next year we get Scola but he doesn't get as much playing time until the end of the season and playoffs against the Jazz again. But this time Yao goes down and he is out for the playoffs. The series seems doomed from the get go, but Mcgrady still manages his team to push it to 6 games and we eventually lose. Oh, also in that final game 6? Mcgrady had 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. The only other player in double figures? My man Luis Scola with 15. Mcgrady quit on his team huh? He said "you know what, Yao went out injured, i'm just gonna coast through these playoffs and wait till next year." No. He didn't say that instead he sucks it up through a knee injury and still drops 40 points. Don't forget that he took cortizone shots in his knee before those playoff games against the Jazz. But yeah Mcgrady totally quit on his team.

Next season we all remember what happened next. We get Artest through the trade and our squad is solid title contenders. Mcgrady still hadn't fully recovered from his microfracture surgery and it's evident as the season goes on. He's forced to shut it down, and only got to play 35 games that year. Injuries are a b*tch.

Oh yes I forgot how Artest re-signed with us after his one year with us. Instead he goes and join his buddy Kobe in L.A. Remember this?
