Honestly (no, really...HONESTLY) I didn't even think about that. It just seemed to me, when perusing the box scores last night, that a lot of guys had some really impressive stat lines (aside from Paul, Stuckey really jumped out at me). I mean at least 5 guys were within either 3 rebounds or 3 assists of a triple double and 1 was fairly close to a quadruple double. I don't know, maybe the near triple doubles happen more often than I realize.
I have Stuckey and Lee in one of my teams, so I was happy to see those big games last night. Stuckey has been amazing lately, not bad for an 11th round pick.
I nabbed him off waivers as soon as I saw he was going to start. One thing I do regret is not picking up the backups of Josh Boone and Jermaine O'neal as soon as those two got injured. Brook Lopez and Bargnani have been red got lately.
I drafted Brook Lopez and dropped him after a bit of a slump right at the start of the season. He was then picked up off waivers by moes.
Word. It pains me even more because I had both Boone and JO when they got injured. On another note, Nash had 18 dimes today against Toronto.
I had my eye on him during the draft, he's been solid ever since I picked him up. You never know which rookie is going to start to produce. I have Mayo, Chalmers, and Gordon as well and they all contribute nicely in their own way. I just picked up Bayless too. I think the average age of my team is probably like 22. Its getting hard to hold you off in the standings when you keep winning 12-0 and 11-1 and ****.
LOL well it's not easy to catch you when you keep winning 10-2 and ****. As for Lopez, I went back last night to see what made me drop him. Yahoo says I dropped him on Nov. 13th at 1:09am, just hours after that stinker he posted on Nov. 12th (his 5th bad game in a row), and just before that monster game on Nov. 14th. There was no way to see that coming
I'm pretty sure Bynum is putting up a career night tonight: 38 pts (15-22 fg, 8-11 ft), 14 reb, 3 blk 2 min left in the game
Now that's worth mentioning. I read the yahoo sports headlines and I was like wow, 42 on Kayman. Nope, 42 on a 2nd round rookie. Then I see that that rookie only missed one shot. Yeah, I'm not impressed Mr. Bynum. Nobody thought Yao or any great center was great until they did it against the best. ... And don't forget to try and stop the opposing player.
