He's done well at DE and they are happy with Simon. Also Covington is back to take over the other DE spot.

 

Yeah, no reason to move Clowney back. Moving him back to OLB takes your most productive pass rusher, statistically, off the field.

 

True, and the reason for the production from Simon and Mercilus has been due to Clowney at DE, so definitely keep him there.

 

Score a TD on the opening drive and it'll go a long way to setting the tone the Texans want in this one.
