A hot streak now would only lead to regression later... nobody this young (save for 1 or 2 guys ever) is immune from struggling. Or, he’s just going to emulate Bregman’s debut and eventual transcendence...
Keuchel is 3-0 in July. "Others" ALL Lost... Every single one. There literally couldn't be better Standings-Day. Three+ Run Diff and Shutout
Yeah it just seems like big league pitching is too much for him right now. Doesn’t seem to see pitches well. Hopefully that changes but it looks like he’s really struggling with MLB ball movement
You said next closest was 6. I simply responded with the correct number that I heard in the broadcast and then verified. Why mention league leader? There was nothing to correct concerning that statement.
Correct. After tonight's game, the Astros are now tied with Boston with 9. In the AL. NL has three teams with double-digit SHO. (http://www.espn.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/pitching/league/al/sort/shutouts/order/true)
Kyle Tucker is looking a lot like Alex Bregman at the plate during his rookie year. It will take a lot of experiences, adjustments from Kyle. If Kyle made the tea out of Spring Training and started in the beginning he would be putting up big numbers for Rookie of the Year. Astros brass want that extra year of control of his contract.
Not sure how much an adjustment is needed. He's making good contact. Not striking out much. Results will come. Swinging less would probably help as he is hitting pitches he can't drive too often, but patience isn't well liked here.
