    Is he really?!? Wow. Ok, guess I'll shut up about Altuve swinging at the first pitch.

    I just remembered a few times on the road trip where Jose had a chance to win the game and he swings at the first pitch and gets out.

    But if those stats are accurate, then yes way Jose!

    Always great to get a win but we have definite issues to address. Stop with the Carter experiment already, make Valbuena your starter if nothing else but for defense. Stop with the rotating Tucker, Gattis in LF, they are DH's period, Jake in LF. Stop taking Rasmus out of the lineup, he is your RF until Springer gets back. If Gomez hasnt got it together when Springer gets back then Jake to C and Rasmus to LF.

    Actually something is wrong with your stats. No way his OBP could be lower than his AVG. Where'd you get your numbers?

    Baseball Reference. The lower on-base percentage may be because he's hit sac flies on the first pitch.
