all three of our losses were close games won at the end of the fourth quarter. We will be fine; although, i still would love to punch a laker baby.

the coach sucks! our players suck! the front office sucks! tank the season!

all kidding aside, i think we DO have a good team. we knew it would take some time for the team to gel and everyone to understand thier roles. the pieces are there and so is the talent.
it's going to a little more time than we had hoped is all

    Restore sanity? Never lost it.

It was scheduling and luck, so what we're 0-3...we're going to be in the playoffs and it wont even matter what seed it will be. End.

Yeah... but i would have really enjoyed an 82-0 season. 79-3 is nice, but its not 82-0.

The Rockets established an identity last w/o Yao. If anything, they are struggling to have one WITH him.

    Easier said than done.

Once we get use to having 2 different style of plays (yao and no yao), I think we'll do much better.

Pain is part of the Houston fan experience, we must all embrace it like men (and a few women). Houston sports teams are best at losing games, and Houston sports fans are good a losing their minds, it is just the way it is.

Seriously. If this were football 0-3 would be something to panic about, but this is an 82 game season. Let the team gel before seeking the nearest cliff to jump off of.

I love the team and expect the problems will be resolved with more playing time together. Which makes me wonder. How many Rockets on this years' team were Rockets last year - and of those - were Rockets the year before?
Seems to me we have traded/waived/signed more players past years than any other team ? So each year is rather a struggle for the players to get comfortable and trust each other.

    One year or less: (?)
Bud., Hill, Lee, Jeffries, Martin, Miller, Patterson, Smith

    Two/Three years or less: (?)
    Brooks, Hayes, Lowry, Taylor

    Three years or more: (?)
    Battier, Ming, Scola

Is this (high?) ever-changing roster a big part of the present problems?

FWIW - would edit if could. Kyle and Jermaine belong under Rocket for one year or less. So effectively we have 10 guys that have been a Rocket one year or less and 5 guys three years or more. I think that is unusual. Give them time.
