Already eliminated from the playoffs and talking about who we were going to take with our top 10 draft pick.
Sadly I will always wish another year of QB hell if it means playoffs. Bad thing is if the Jags can right their defense they will be just as tough as the Colts going forward and that's assuming Luck gets to his usual self.
We can thank Mallet for saving our season. If he played instead of Yates or Weeden, we wouldn't make the playoffs
Hoyer's 2 concussions were the catalyst for the season. Also, we can thank the O line for getting frustrated by Hoyer's godawful play to the point they stopped blocking for him. Without that, the season is over.
Mallett's alarm clock didn't work in his room and Hoyers didn't work in his head, he has to know when to get rid of the ball.
Either way, it worked out and we won't have to deal with either of them again after this season is over.
2 concussions in a single month should really signal the end of his career even if him being a terrible football player doesn't.
Hoyer was by far the best QB who played for us and the only guy who is arguably an average QB in the NFL Tough to argue with a 90 QBrating over a large enough sample
Yet it was Yates and Weeden who were at the helm for the 3 most impressive wins on the season while the 3 most depressing losses on the season were with your boy Hoyer.
Hoyer played in the Bengals game, and the team didn't get into the end zone but he threw a pick and was set to lose the game till he fortunately got hurt. Hoyer didn't play at all in the Jets game.....which is why the Texans won.
