Prediction. Texans lose a close one. Mettenberger does well. Today is officially the last start for Ryan Firzpatrick!

Sigh.... One LB for another. At least Cush hasn't actually torn anything. I'm sure his knee has a long way to go before its 100%.
At this point, they're probably not going to lose much by having anybody else in there... Cushing was hurting the defense more than helping it.
cushing has the highest # of missed tackles in the league + a number of blown assignments + he cant run anymore. wtf are you blathering about?
Not a Cows fan and you know it. I posted the NFL map in another thread here. It sucks but that's the reality of pro football in this state right now and ever since I was a kid. I could stick my head in the sand and pretend otherwise like you and others do but that changes nothing. As I write this, the Texans game isn't even on TV up here - the CBS station is showing the Seahawks-Panthers game even with no Cows game until tomorrow night. Jerry is on ESPN grinning from ear to ear with Gruden. You REALLY think I like watching the Cows stumble and bumble along yet still somehow manage to get things right? It grates me to no end and just defies belief at how arrogant and entitled that organization and its fans are day in and day out but who can blame them? I guess success breeds douches. Now here's a revolutionary thought: Instead of attacking anyone who deals in reality why not hold the Texans ownership and management accountable for their complete ineptness at putting together a winning football organization? I've read your posts so I know that you are smart enough to know the sorry history of pro football in this town. Years ago when the Dom Capers regime was bumbling to an end, I posted that the ONE thing that McNair needed to insure was that the Texans did not repeat the sorry experience of the Oilers. Sadly, for the long suffering football Houston fans that is something he has failed to do.
