Not sure about this one. The Titans are so up and down. If we're going to lose a game we should win, this is it.

    hmmmm

I think we roll. Kevin Harlan should make it a better experience.

I think this is a lot closer then we want it to be... Titans have been playing a little better since we last played. CJ has been doing decent too... with that said i still think we win 21-7

Look at this 4 week stretch.

    OT heart stopper vs JAX

OT heart stopper + injuries @ DET

Roadie @ TEN who are essentially playing an elimination game

Huge Monday Night game @ NE looming

    Seems pretty trappy to me.

But by definition, a "trap" game is something that comes completely out of the blue, and the team is totally unprepared for it.

After the last two weeks, I don't think anybody on the Texans would be suprised if the Titans come out playing really well.

The Texans are going to be getting a lot of other team's best efforts now. Everybody in the league wants to beat the best... and by their record, the Texans are the best. Also, everybody in this league is CAPABLE of beating another team on any given week... if they're playing their best.

I don't see the Texans coming out flat or being "unprepared" or "trapped". They still may struggle, and barely eek out a win, but that could be more because the Titans have their backs to the wall and are in total "win or go home" mode (kinda like the Packers were 1 month ago). If the Titans play out of their mind, they can certainly win... but if both teams play up to their usual standards, the Texans shouldn't have much of a problem.

It's pretty silly to argue over the definition of something that is colloquial.

I'll say this. Look at the odds on the game. Look at the public polls of "who you think will win". The Texans are large favorites.

If you lose a game you're heavily favored in, I'd consider that trappy.

If you're vulnerable because of injury, I'd consider that trappy.

If you're playing a game against a desperate team that falls between two of the signature games of your season, I'd consider that trappy.

Do I think the Texans will not be focused or prepared? No. Do I think the Texans will not be as focused or prepared as they could be or have been in the past? Yes. Part of that really isn't their fault, though. Main point, I think the public is underestimating the Titans chances here. So whether the Texans are prepared isn't as much of my concern as it is the fanbase being prepared for a loss.

Titans just fired their offensive coordinator. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing for us.

Based on his resume, probably a bad thing.

    Houston Texans (2002–2005)
    Offensive Coordinator

    Dallas Cowboys (2006)
    Quarterbacks Coach

    New York Giants (2007–2009)
    Quarterbacks Coach

    Hartford Colonials (2010)
    Head Coach/General Manager

    Texans 44
    Titans 13

Chris Johnson gets his. The DEFENSE takes out Hasselbeck from the game like we've done with other quarterbacks (Locker for Hasselbeck, Cutler for Campbell, Henne for Gabbert)... but there's no stopping the Arian Foster and Tate train that controls the entire game and opens the receiving core wide open. Keyshawn Martin breaks one for an 84-yards touchdown.

    ¡¡¡VAMOS, TEXANS!!!!

Every game makes me nervous these days. The Texans seem to be slipping into Falcons territory (barely winning, but winning nonetheless). Division games are especially troublesome. I hope CJ doesn't run all over us again. Our defense is significantly more hobbled now than it was when he went for 141 on us (Cushing had 10 tackles).

Someone calls every game a "trap" game. That's almost as overused as "we got exposed" or "____ got exposed" or "ugh game over!" with 10 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter .
