BOB doesn't have the stones to yell at Foster or his receivers or his joke of a QB.... so lets yell at a woman on camera and look like a complete jackass.

Outside of the fumbles and the interception (which I blame more on asinine play-calling than on Fitz), the two players that I can't WAIT to see out of Texans uniforms are Danieal Manning and Johnathan Joseph. It was fun times back in 2011 when they first came here, but my God are they horrendous now.

Joseph is supposed to be the "fast" corner to Jackson's "strong" corner, but he's literally slower than every single #1 in the league. He's constantly out of position when the ball is in the air, and he is NEVER in position to make tackles. That play where Antonio Bryant made him look like he was on ice skates was the final straw for me.

Do I even need to elaborate on Manning? Stutter-stepping at the 15 yard line on every single kickoff is bad, but I'll still take that over dropping the goddamned ball at the 2 yard line, taking about 3 seconds to pick it back up, and then getting clobbered at the 4. If we want to turn him into a 4th-string safety at a massive discount, I'll take that, but he needs to be nowhere near a kickoff starting next week. We seriously have NOBODY else on this roster that can return kicks?? Actually, why am I surprised that we don't? This is a Rick Smith-built roster.

It's ridiculous that Manning is returning kicks. Texans must be the only team to start a 32 year old at a position that requires speed and quickness.

Damaris Johnson would seem to make sense to return kicks.

Or Daryl Morris once he returns. We miss this kid in a BIG way.

People were livid with the coaching staff's insistence of continuing to trott out Manning. He's old and slow. SMH.

Even though this loss isn't entirely on him...I have lost a lot of respect for Bill O'Brien after this game. He literally sounded like a 5-year old throwing a temper tantrum in his postgame conference. I felt a bit bad for Tania...she was just doing her job and asked a fair question. Bill O'Brien should apologize to her. I could see him being reprimanded by the NFL later this week. Even Kubiak, crappy as he is...was more professional in the face of adversity.

I no longer feel that O'Brien is the right coach for this team. Sucks since we're probably stuck with him for at least the next few years. He probably should've stayed at Penn State.

    F**k him.

The thing is, its not just one thing.. its a combination of things. And the good parts we have or had are not enough to make this a winning team. Arian, Dre, Watt we only have a handful of good players on this team. The rest are mediocre. Even ones that used to be solid: Duane, Cush... this year is going down the drain, maybe it took us fans a while to figure that out. I am changing my initial 9-7 prediction I made in preseason.. I say 8-8 would be lucky.. 7-9 more likely.
Texans do not make it easy being a fan. But someday they will get it right... someday!

I just can't fathom how this so called "complex" offense doesn't involve any plays to our TE's ? Didn't Graham have like 60 catches and multiple TD's in the disaster that was 2013 ? I think I've seen maybe 10 to 15 passes thrown at TE's total all year .. WTF is this ... has to be the most predictable "complex " system in the history of football .

Looked it up .. Graham has 12 rec. total on the year and CJ a grand total of 2 .. pathetic

No; the Steelers called a TO because he was initially ruled down and they were stopping the clock. After it was automatically reviewed, and overturned, the Steelers were given back their TO - as well as the ball.

A team *can't* initiate a challenge in the final 2 minutes of a half.

No. They gave the timeout back because the Steelers had called it to stop the clock after Foster was presumed to get tackled. Once the review came from upstairs (inside 2 minutes) and the call was changed to a fumble they gave the timeout back because the ball was turned over, so the Steelers would not have needed a timeout to stop the clock.

Don't know if this was mentioned but before last night's game the Steelers offense has only scored 20 points in the last previous 169 minutes of game time. They scored 24 points in 3 minutes last night.

Sure; 14 of those points came on drives that totaled 11 yards. Otherwise, I thought the Texans' defense was exactly what it's been all year: pretty stingy - 4 punts, 3 sacks, a turnover; they did well on 3rd down (5/14) and held Pittsburgh to 3 yards/rush. Other than the dumpster fire stretch in the 2Q (which really falls on the offense), I thought the defense played well enough to win.

And this is exactly the reason BOB let the media have it. We did play a great game aside from that disastrous and very fortunate bounce...The ball caromed up off the helmet. That is the definition of a freak play. The fumble is what it was...a mistake by Foster(who played a heck of a game)...Those plays would shock any football team, especially since it was deep within their red zone. And its hard for anyone to recover like that...and even as all that happened..the Texans were down 8 driving with 5 and change right before the Hopkins fumble. And even after that Hopkins fumble, the Texans had 4 minutes with no TO and the 2min warning to get a TD(which they did). They even had a real shot at recovering that onside attempt...the ball just bounced the Steelers way. And for any Steelers fans that think their team is making the playoffs, they are in for a very rude awakening. They are a bad football team that had the privilege of playing a cursed Houston team on a prime-time appearance.

Meh.... You can look at a lot of teams who win or lose games and find excuses why. And last year and so far this year _ we're the kings of excuses.

Fitzpatrick won't go through his progressions, and TE's are rarely the 1st read.
