Maybe we're the Kansas City royals of the NFL. 29 years from now we will have a real qb and will kick some ass.
The "acceptance of what team we have this year" mentality is the one I would suggest. Lying to yourself about what is on the bench doesn't get you anywhere. If there is a future solution to the QB problem on the team, it's Savage, and he's nowhere near ready to play this season. Realistic expectations are important IMO and they keep people from all of this ragefail nonsense going on right now.

Speaking of lying to yourself......didn't you just last week predict the Texans would beat Pittsburgh and go 4-0 over the next four? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=9263501&postcount=153
.....yeah, and they should have. Losing to Pittsburgh is embarrassing, every bit as embarrassing as losing to the Titans or Jags. The Texans absolutely gave this game away, and there's no excuse for it.
This is why this man is the right man for the Job...too bad he has a team filled with acceptors of failure...This team desperate needs a Dez...A Brandon Marshall...who's game matches their mouth(ie Swearinger)...
Ahh, the Texans pulled the classic Houston Sports tease. "Hey, we're going to dominate the Steelers on the road for MNF...NOT!" Is there any sports city that is teased as much as Houston is?

You are as good as your record. There are so many close games in the NFL. You can't give the Texans bonus points when you aren't keeping count of every other team in the NFL's close games. The Jets lost by 2 points to the Patriots. That doesn't mean the Jets should have won. I don't think you or anyone else went through the Jets game and looked for mistakes "they shouldn't have made." There is no such thing as should have or should haven't. Great teams do, Bad teams do not. This team is as good as 3-4 period.
Hoping how I feel in the morning changes...going to sleep...!@#! this sports team...13 years of being a joke in the NFL on primetime appearances...Was planning on going to Indy...now I am surely not going. That game will not even matter.
Probably time to give Mallet a shot. MAYBE one or two more games for Fitzpatrick and he should be benched.
" If we can fix those things we're doing wrong we have a shot to win ,we have to coach better and we have to play better " Wow OB really is a genius , don't think anyone thought of that ... seems like the same line after each loss ... almost as bad as Kubiak and his battlefightin bs
Every coach says the same thing after every loss. I don't know why anyone puts too much stock in it. "We need to play better, coach better." I'm sure every coach says this after every loss.
I can already hear it. After the bye Obiak will say , Fitz has had time to take some time off, make adjustments, and feels like he's ready to lead this team to a better second half or something lame like that.
The thing is it's been statistically proven over time that teams ars generally around .500 in games decided by a TD or less. So far this year we are 1-3. 1 game off the expected norm, but the way things swing from year to year we could easily be 3-1 in those games and things would look and feel a lot different. Not here to say I like what I see during parts of our game, but I think we are better than our record. Fitzpatrick has looked bad at times, but the amount of turnovers by our skil players has killed us just as much as he has. I originally had us pegged as 8-8 with the upside of 9-7, I still like our chances at 8-8.
