Agreed. He played both NT and DE for the Pats. His presence on the field will allow Crick more operating space. Hoping Crick continues to build on last year, and racks up a few more sacks this season. I'm a fan of his, but he needs to show a little more to be considered the every day DE opposite Watt.
To play devil's advocate, when was the last time Belichick made a mistake letting a player go? He seems to know when his players are done.
Doesn't have the frame. He's about maxed at 270, and in a 3/4 you want your DE at a minimum of 290, preferably 300+. Plus with his explosiveness you want him to operate out in space on the edge. Beating tackles and stopping outside runs.
