Savage is on pace for more fumbles than rookie Carr behind arguably the worst OL in the history of the NFL.
Not really relevant when the strips aren't his fault. If guys like Lamm weren't even getting in the way of defenders leading to blind side shots on say Watson, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have anyone here blaming him for the fumbles that resulted from those plays.
i'd like to keep yates as the third qb or give him a traveling assistant to watson job. For a back up, I'd go with someone who is more mobile can sell a play action pass like an aj mccaron. I mean every back up qb, not named case or highly drafted, is a bad situation for every team. I would almost say draft a qb with the 3rd rounde and you'd be in the same position. watson's poise and mvp talent will take us to where we've never been before.
Why oh why did OBrien keep running guys up the middle into the teeth of the Raven defense? It just made no sense, most such plays were for no gain. Inexplicable! The game is just too fast for Savage. He processes, moves, and executes in slow motion. You can blame a sorry offensive line, but seriously, in the NFL you can't hold the ball that long, and it is a really bad idea to throw it to the other team.
As weird as this may be, the Texans need to draft a backup QB, even if we're limited with picks. We cant have another year where the team totally implodes if Watson isnt playing. Take a 5th round pick on a player that has the same mobility as Watson....that way, you dont have to change **** if Watson gets hurt.
Watson was beating teams with his brain and his arm more so than his legs, so it's not a matter of just getting a mobile QB even if I've seen that posted about a hundred times since he went down.
easiest thing would've been to sign Kaep but...ya know... smh can't believe it's really come down to me advocating for Kaepernick. dude sucks so much but i'd rather have him than any other QB on this team not named Watson
Right? That last INT was one of the dumbest passes I've ever seen, but the fumble before was totally not his fault.
