Ahhh, the good ol' "sit back and wait for everyone else to make moves and then scrape the bottom of the barrel" tactic. Yep, that always works out for us!
Lots of big names already coming off the board. 70 million in cap space and pretty much SILENCE. Being a fan of this team can be absolutely brutal.
Wow, good for Foles though. Happy for guys like Foles and Keenum who are good dudes and deserve every penny they earn.
Really interested to see how Nick Foles works out. Jaguars did hire John Defilippo, who was there for a year in Philadelphia. AFC-S could be interesting. WOW... The Texans going to pony up for Honeybadger after this? http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26230551/collins-redskins-6-years-84m
I think this should be our plan if possible. Give some older vets 2 year deals by overpaying them a little and then fill in the gaps where needed. Still need 1 or 2 solid starters on the o-line or we will waste the 2 year window we have with DW on a small contract and JJ's prime years. I would like to see them do what the Rams did and go for it all while your franchise QB is in year 3 of his rookie contract. Don't think they will go all out like that but it makes sense to me.
Sure but think ET is versatile enough to make things work. Was reading how he actually lined up closer to the line of scrimmage than any other FS, almost same position of SS with his ability to cover both underneath and deep routes.
