    The Texans re-signed Alex Brink.

Connor Barwin's fake spin move off of the edge on the Kansas City offensive tackle was impressive. He left the o-lineman in his dust, and was slamming Croyle in to the ground in seconds.

Then he capped off the play with the "My Dougie" celebration.

This dude just became one of my favorite players on the Texans.

i didn't see a move; it looked like he simply blew by him - and blew by him *so* fast that he actually hesitated thinking he would have to do a move only to find himself alone in space. then he just ate up the QB. and that was against their 1st team LT - i believe the guy was their 1st round pick last year.

he may be fun to watch this year.

Man, it's so crazy to think this team might be able to rush the passer.

Yeah, I didnt see a move either, just saw him fly by the OT...but I did read that he said he faked a spin move. That actually makes it more impressive, that he pulled a move and got to the QB as quickly as he did. Pretty sweet sack.

There was a little hesitation before he went around the LT. I've heard some people, including Lance Zerlein, claim that he faked an inside spin move. It was hard for me to tell if it was a little juke or if he was waiting to see what the LT would do. Either way, you can't argue with the results.

Barwin said after the game that he decided to try that move and that it worked (obviously). It was so quick but you can see that he faked the inside spin move freezing the LT and then blowing by him. Great move.

    Maybe castor is on vacation?

In related news, Slaton's helmet keeps falling off. I thought have gotten one that fits already.

I'm not sure Mcclain got that right. Nolan was placed on IR, according to houstontexans.com.

I didn't think they would just cut him like that since they were fairly high on him even for a 7th rounder. I also didn't think you could cut injured players.

Maybe the NFL changed the rule, though. It looks like Grigsby will have an opportunity to reach a settlement which would allow him to be re-signed when healthy (if the Texans choose to do so). http://onthefringe.nfl.com/

True, but the reason for my stupid outburst was because he was just posting in another thread.

....I'm just bitter because the regular season hasn't started yet. ;)

    Can't wait.

Maybe the Texans are going to take a look at Neal, to be back-up FB ... he would be a nice addition!

^ I don't think o'neal would be a nice addition. Our FB is pretty Solid.
I would love to see casey line up as fullback in some sets.

Side note....Coach Kubiak on rome today.

Love that last line by Uncle Bob there! Ha. I like it.

Too bad about June. But I think he was on the bubble to make the team anyway, and we can certainly move on without him.
