    Mel Kiper Mock Draft 3

    1. Cleveland Browns - Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M
    2. San Francisco 49ers - Solomon Thomas, DL, Stanford
    3. Chicago Bears - Jamal Adams, S, LSU
    4. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama
    5. Tennessee Titans - Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
    6. New York Jets - O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
    7. Los Angeles Chargers - Malik Hooker, S, Ohio State
    8. Carolina Panthers - Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU
    9. Cincinnati Bengals - Takkarist McKinley, OLB, UCLA
    10. Buffalo Bills - Mike Williams, WR, Clemson
    11. New Orleans Saints - Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
    12. Cleveland Browns - Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
    13. Arizona Cardinals - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson
    14. Philadelphia Eagles - Gareon Conley, CB, Ohio State
    15. Indianapolis Colts - Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama
    16. Baltimore Ravens - Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin
    17. Washington Redskins - Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
    18. Tennessee Titans - John Ross, WR, Washington
    19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan
    20. Denver Broncos - David Njoku, TE, Miami
    21. Detroit Lions - Charles Harris, DE, Missouri
    22. Miami Dolphins - Forrest Lamp, OG, Western Kentucky
    23. New York Giants - Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee
    24. Oakland Raiders - Tre'Davious White, CB, LSU
    25. Houston Texans - Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama

The Texans could be in play for a quarterback here after trading away Brock Osweiler, though Tony Romo could find his way to Houston soon if he gets his release from the Cowboys. For now I'm sticking with Robinson at No. 25, even if he'll have no idea whom he's blocking for. Robinson (6-6, 322) has been a known commodity for the Crimson Tide, for whom he was a three-year starter, but he isn't a lock to play left tackle. He's a powerful run-blocker who needs to clean up some things to reach his potential as a pass-blocker.

    26. Seattle Seahawks - Kevin King, CB, Washington
    27. Kansas City Chiefs - Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina
    28. Dallas Cowboys - Jabrill Peppers, S, Michigan
    29. Green Bay Packers - Dalvin Cook, RB, Florida State
    30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Tyus Bowser, OLB, Houston
    31. Atlanta Falcons - Taco Charlton, DE, Michigan
    32. New Orleans Saints - Marlon Humphrey, CB, Alabama

I could live with that. Still leaves Mahomes on the board to hopefully be there for our 2nd pick.

No way the Jets take a TE that high among other needs

It is the Jets we're talking about now...

McCaffrey over Cook and no Bolles in the first is new too. Him or Cam would be a solid pick at #25 IMO.

We were also 17th in pass attempts and had a super conservative offense.

Shaheen's film from college is terrible. He's not a good football player. I don't see why people are saying he may go in the second or third round. He should go in like the 6th. Maybe.

I'm thinking it's a possibility we have enough cap space in the end to sign a Jamaal Charles or AP if either of them just can't get a good offer and have to settle for a bargain deal. That said, the only way we sign either is if it is indeed a bargain. There is a high bust risk for them.

Deangelo Williams or Tim Hightower are also some solid, very cheap options. Both on the wrong side of 30 but good type of backs to take 8-10 carries from Lamar

Why spend that kind of money on an old retread back, when you can draft one, in what might be the best running back class ever, and potentially have a good back at a bargain for years?

It's the exact reason why these guys haven't been signed yet. Teams are going to wait until after the draft, and potentially the end of camp. They want to see what they get out of the draft.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Texans taking a look at Foreman in the 3rd, maybe Perrine as well. Inability to convert on short yardage and goaline situations was a huge issue that is being overlooked somewhat IMO.

can anyone say any of the quarterbacks are better than Savage with his years of training in the system?
Put me down for Bolles if he is still on the board.

Agreed. Our secondary lost 2 starters and bringing in an elite prospect that can seemingly fill either spot would be big.
