O'Brien thinks we can't spot his burner account loooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll He has to be the 2nd dumbest motherclucker in the organization (you know who's #1).
No one was going to give a first for Hop, it is what it is, we have a running back now that if he gets the same holes Carlos was getting he could have a two thousand yard season, not to mentionwhat he can do catching. Cobb was signed to take Keke's spot and they only overpaid in terms of your perspective
This is either someone playing a really good joke, or it's actuall Bill O'Brien. The fact that his twitter banner is "AFC South Champions" (doesn't matter Brian) makes it too perfect.
Who works for the Bill's that used to work for the Texans? Oh, that's right Brian Gaine. So like I said, no one was giving up a first for Hop
But someone gave a first for Diggs, care to explain that? idk how u can fking defend this sht trade when right after that sht trade occurred, another team gave up a sht ton of more picks for Diggs. Every other well-known WR got traded for a first round pick, and Hopkins one of the best couldn't net one? Stop talking sht out of your own ass.
It was hyperbole to illustrate that Johnson is a better back than Hyde, but if he breaks Arian Foster's Texans rushing record next season it wouldn't surprise me
he won't and he has 0 chance to. won't even come close. again get a clue you should be worrying about him being healthy rather than laughably thinking a declining injury prone player is breaking any kind of record
Foster's career high was 1600 yards, and that's just rushing. All of BOBs rbs since Lamar Miller has put up ~4 ypc. Even if you were to bump that to a ridiculous 6 ypc, David Johnson would need over 260 carries. BOB's RBs have only reached 250 carries once in his 6 years coaching here. There's a nonzero chance that David Johnson could get 2000 combined yards again in his career. But Foster's rushing record, specifically, is solidly safe from BOB's system whatever the hell this is.
It is about the Contract. Every team knew that Hopkins wants Julio Jones money on a new contract, with 3 years left on the current one. That is what affected the value. You are right to argue the Texans' should not have traded him then or at least had the Cards pay for half of Johnson's contract. BoB loves David Johnson....so he did the deal anyway. $22 Million a year ($64 of the $66 million extension is guaranteed) scared away alot of teams.
