3rd rounder develops bulimia and becomes a figure skater. The two 7th rounders will end up being caliber pro bowlers and highly sought in free agency 0f 2023 signing with new teams. And talks of the organization not knowing how to draft will flood the message boards
I think it's the other way around. Unless I'm mistaken compensatory picks can't be included in trades
They changed that a few years back. Just can’t trade them before they actually get awarded for obvious reasons. Edit: Guess I was wrong on this.
Wait what? How does a player getting suspended cause the Texans to go from a 3rd rounder to a 7th rounder? Did Kareem get suspended on purpose just to screw the Texans?

8. Jadeveon Clowney (DE): Titans Let’s get crazy. The Titans produced a sack or QB hit on 18.8% of opponents’ pass plays last year — that ranked 24th. Clowney’s skills are best maximized in a creative defensive scheme where he can line up in different spots and create havoc. The Titans offer that, plus Mike Vrabel is familiar with Clowney from their time together in Houston. Tennessee goes all-in and lands one of the year’s highest-profile free agents. 31. Chris Harris Jr. (CB): Texans Bill O’Brien will continue to be in “win now” mode, and even though Harris turns 31 in June, he can man the slot for a defense that finished 26th against the pass last season. 34. Bradley Roby (CB): Giants Roby is more of a second-tier corner, but he can play man coverage and has the versatility to line up on the outside or in the slot. Roby signed a one-year deal with the Texans as a free agent last offseason and will likely be looking for something more substantial this time around. 35. D.J. Reader (DT): Broncos If the Broncos can add Reader to the middle of their defensive line and team him with Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, they’ll be positioned to make a nice leap in the second year under Fangio. 57. Danny Shelton (DT): Texans Houston loses Reader but adds Shelton at a lower price. His 56 tackles against the run last year were tied for fifth most among defensive linemen. 89. Kevin Johnson (CB): Vikings They’re expected to lose two or three corners this offseason. The Vikings don’t have a lot of cap space, but Johnson can give them a versatile option with upside. He played well on a one-year prove-it deal with the Bills last season. 97. Kamalei Correa (Edge): Texans He came on strong at the end of last season for the Titans and had seven sacks in Tennessee’s final 11 games (playoffs included). Correa is an intriguing under-the-radar option for teams looking for edge rush.
