Without a doubt, Suh intentionally tried to kick Schaub. You can see him double clutch his leg to try and hit Schaub. I don't think he was aiming for Schaub's family jewels, but he was aiming to hit Schaub. But here's the thing. As a Texans Fan I do not want to see him suspended. The Lions play the Colts next week so suspending Suh helps our in division rival, the Colts. Fine him. The incident occured against the Texans so why would we want to allow the incident to help out the Colts.
Any news concerning Derek Newton's knee injury? I thought I saw him standing on the sidelines in street clothes during the game at one of the shots of Kubiak. Ryan Harris gave up two sacks while he replaced Newton last Thursday. With pass rushers like Chandler Jones, Robert Mathis, Dwight Freeney and Jared Allen coming up on the schedule, we need Newton back ASAP.
Everything I'm seeing is from 3 or 4 days ago, with most reports saying that he underwent an MRI on Friday, but there hasn't been any follow-up to that. It seems like it's somewhere between a quad injury and a knee injury, so hopefully it was just muscular, and he can get back to it sooner rather than later. Harris was simply not good against Detroit, and like you said, we are facing better pass rushers the last month of the season.
