Kjax will have his signature game as a Texan and launch into stardom as he single handedly shuts down Megatron. Kareem Island Texans 24 - 10

Jags had 1 first down in the 4th quarter and Henne completed only 2 of his last 13 passes. They pulled it together after being hit in the mouth a few times.
As long as he doesn't turn into the old Kreamed Island then we are good to go! I'm personally hoping that the players have something left in the tank after the last game. Took a lot out and to have it be a short week is never good.
Are there any stats that support that this is always the case, or is everyone just going by the human factor? I'm wondering what sort of study or statistical data shows it could be a factor.
I suspect we'll bounce back a whole lot better than the Jags will. Winning helps put that spring back. If we can toss Cody and Tate back in the mix, so much the better. I don't wager, nor do I know the spread, but I would lay significant money on a Titans (coming off a bye) destruction of the Jags this Sunday. Divisional games are always dicey territory, but I can't fathom the Jags making a contest out of it. Lions stay at home, but they've got the same short week as us and I doubt their moral is fantastic after a narrow defeat by the Packers and being mired at 4-6. This is when some teams quietly start to shut it down.
From the heart...I want to win this game badly. Strategically, it's not really that huge a deal at this point. I don't see the Texans going 15-1 this season. Another couple of losses won't kill much. Keeping those losses in the NFC would be huge. Going undefeated in the Division AND the Conference...would be unreal. I said in another thread in this forum I'd rather see the Texans going all-out against the Jags than the Lions. I'd hate to risk JoJo's long-term health with a game against an NFC North opponent on a short week. We have a game against the Pats looming...
I don't understand how this game isn't hugely important. The Pats and the Ravens are bringing up the rear, they are not far behind. I sure don't want to be tied with the Ravens going into Foxboro. Just win them all.
They are pros. They play to win. Every game. If there is one thing I have heard all the players say at one point or another this season, it's that its all about the W.
Everyone got a kick out of the Jaguars almost beating the Texans... ...except for the Lions. Expect a pissed off front 7 after a poor performance. Texans 21 Lions 6
Barwin and Reed need to start picking up their production. Everyone knows JJ is going to command a double team so I fully expect Barwin and Reed to have a great game.
Because this is not a 15-1 team. We aren't. We're going to lose a couple to a few more, and this one makes perfect sense. It's out of division, out of conference, short week. If we lose this one I will not be remotely surprised, only slightly upset. The ravens and pats aren't going to win out either, so meh.
