It's not about looking ahead as much as going home, watching Sportscenter blasting the Jets for sucking and letting thier guard down. I hope Kubes and Wade can fire the guys up as if the Jets were Contenders. I keep waiting for the shoe to drop based on history. Sorry.
Lol. Couldn't have said it better myself. Exactly ow I feel. I want to hear Ryan say they got their asses handed to them....again. We don't get many national games. Time to show the nation just how awesome this team is!
This happened all last year, and the Jets still were mediocre. They have an inconsistent offense and a good defense, that happens to be missing their best player. Nothing will change those two things. Texans should win, but if they lose, it won't be for lack of excitement imo. It's freakin MNF.
wholeheartedly agree. Texans won't lose because of a letdown. It will take a perfect game by the Jets. and isn't every game the Texans are favorites in basically a "trap" game?
I couldn't disagree more about this being a trap game. With the exception of the Thursday night game late last year vs. the Colts, this will be the first primetime game for our team since we've turned the corner. I'm not saying that we will definitely win. I just have a very, very hard time believing our team would overlook a MNF game in New York. Especially for guys like Watt, Foster, Reed, Joseph, etc. who haven't really had many chances for national exposure.
I hope the texans don't play down to the opponent and make this game closer than it should be, or god forbid, even lose. I want to texans to just lay it on them. Have the nation witness the firepower of this fully ARMED and OPERATIONAL battle station! Spoiler
I love that Kubiak is openly discussing the ramifications of Monday. It's an important game for this team and he's not backing away from it. In fact, it's an important stretch - 3 straight games on three huge stages. Blowtorch your way through it and you will establish yourself as BFMOC. I can't wait to see how they respond.
Wow, for New Yorkers they sure aren't that cocky. I know Jets fans haven't had much to cheer about but still as New Yorkers I was expecting a lot more trash talking.
Talk about pessimism. Jeez. I guess I can't blame em after last weeks performance and their injuries but some of those posts are really comical.
Wow, I kinda feel bad for their fans now. We can all relate to being set back by injuries (Rockets, Texans).
The Texans have never beaten the Jets and the Texans have never won a primetime game on the road. That's a double negative, so it means a victory for the Texans.
LOL, that's awesome. I think Rex Ryan's act is wearing thin in the big apple. It goes over great if you're winning, but if you're not.....well, not so much. Sort of reminds me of the Jerry Glanville days here in Houston..................
So in that case...Jesus will make his presence felt in the game...(NJ is gonna chant for Tebow by the end of the first quarter..)
Until they play a better team like the Packers and Ravens they are all trap games. Games against garbage opponents
