Hopefully but he is just one guy. The other guys need to play better especially against Crabtree and Cooper next week.
Honestly I'm worried about up the middle. Murray and that beefy OL can punch the middle of the Texans defense right in the mouth.
Yeah, I read that may be the reason, but it didn't appear to be from re-watching the replay. No big deal unless Mercilus has an interception clause in his contract. )
I was checking the box score and before half time, it said interception. It must have been changed later on in the game as I noticed it in the fourth quarter. Maybe Bortles has an interception clause in his contract
DVR'd the game and just watched. At the end of the day, can't believe we beat perennial losers in our division by a mere 3 points.
Brock is so bad in the pocket, so scared in there. If he waited an extra half second, a play could actually develop, or he could throw a better ball. Dude's always throwing at the feet.
The reasons why he doesn't have that much time, the reasons why he's getting happy feet, and the reasons why some throws seem rushed and inaccurate are not mutually exclusive. While still having a ton of improvement to do, I actually saw him hang in there and deliver a couple of accurate throws while getting hit. There was very little to zero pocket to speak of on Sunday... one of the O-line's worst outings all year. Brock's mobility has probably been his "most consistent" tool (and the quotes are intentional).
From BOB's press conference: http://www.battleredblog.com/2016/1...onday-after-press-conference-texans-v-jaguars
No one said anything about the Chiefs beating the Jags by 5 at home. Jags actually had a chance to win in the last drive. http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/20161...gameinfo|contentId:0ap3000000734451&tab=recap
I'm glad that all Texans fans can enjoy yet another win by an injury plagued team that is still undefeated in their division and still on pace to make the playoffs despite being without the best defensive player in the NFL all season long.
True. But you gotta read the whole story. The chiefs were playing with their backup QB, 3rd string RB, and lost their pro-bowl tight end during the game. That's why no one is saying anything about it.
What about the Titans being up 35-16 at halftime to the Packers? Remember when no one could believe we ONLY beat the Titans by 7?
True, and not just that.... Chiefs also have a respectable point-diff because they've mostly avoided being blown out and have dished dominance. Chiefs also have last season... numerous blow outs and mostly avoided being dominated, playoffs included. This isn't about one outcome, it's multiple games.
I wonder if the Raiders fans were upset that it took overtime for their team to beat Tampa Bay a couple of weeks ago
The term "any given sunday" comes to mind when I read some of these posts. The fact is, every team in the NFL (sans CLE) is talented. Any team can pull out a W in any game. The Jags have a good, young defense. Top 8 in the league is YPG. They have some strong weapons on offense. They beat PIT at home. They've been competitive in a majority of their games. Take the W and move on. So many fans try to correlate which Ws are good and why, and which Ls are bad and why. Fact is, every W is good and every L is bad. Nit pick all you want, but this is a results driven league. The FO and coaches are not blissfully unaware of Brock's underperformance. They will continue to work with him, and if he doesn't work out, we will move on. Our defense has a window, and they went for 2 years of brock over 5 from a Rookie. We took a risk, the risk had to be made, get over it. As a sidenote, this season was a loss the moment we lost JJ. We have enough b'ing and moaning after Ls. Enjoy a W for christ's sake.
