I bet there could be several iterations of an offensive formation just like that, if you didn't have the line formation requirements. Hell, you could have WR's lineup 20 yards back, get a running start before the snap, and they'd be impossible to stop at full speed once the play got underway.
Well . . interceptions and blocked punts didn't help the defense at all Not to mention a ridiculous 4th down try . . . . .that was a pathetic looking running play I had every seen . . a Quarterback sneak would have been more effective [not saying it would been effective just more than that crap] Rocket River
Well you're right, all facets of the Texans team struggled, but the Texans D got gashed by the run game over and over again. If I were to make a list of things that have to change it would be, in no particular order 1. Clowney needs to get back healthy 2. Nix needs to step up and be the answer at NT 3. Foster needs to get back healthy 4. The O line has to play better. 5. Fitz needs to suck less. 6. BOB needs to know that Fitz sucks and make sure he's not asking too much of him 7. They need to light Tyson Clabo on fire and set him adrift. 8. Swearinger needs to learn how to tackle properly. 9. Andre Johnson can't be dropping passes that hit him in the hands. 10. We need to use the TE's more effectively.
Correct . .. yesterday was a ClusterF*** I thought they had lettermen jackets or something Rocket River
Doesn't change the fact that it needs to happen. Hopefully Foster is back next week and Clowney will be back the week after that. Of course it could take longer, but those 2 guys are vital to our success.
i just hope the guys are healthy for the cowboys game. cant wait to laugh at the cowgirl fans in their cowgirl stadium
That should be the goal and I think it's realistic but no matter what I want to beat the Colts the week after that.

Get the ball to Hopkins whenever possible. He's a special talent and the best receiver on the team. Having Andre as your #2 WR isn't too shabby.

People were saying that same thing with AJ80 and Schaub. "Think how awesome AJ80 would be if we had areal qb not some noodle arm" Same statements every year.
Does that make it any less true? With competent QB's his entire career, AJ would shatter pretty much every WR record (before Calvin tops it later), as it stands he still is having a HOF career. Hopkins is doing very well with scrub QB's, and would probably be considered one of the top young WR's in the league with a competent QB.
