Haven't been proven wrong about him yet. So far he has just shown to be the guy that can be good if he has a ton of time and little pressure and he's just completely awful when pressured. The Dolphins aren't any good at getting after the QB so this shouldn't be the week we find out if he can hang against a decent defense.....which is good because it would be nice to get a win this week. That said, the 2 weeks after the Dolphins should be a good way to see if Hoyer is still the same Hoyer that cracks under pressure because the Titans and Bengals have been getting to the QB a lot this season.
You predicted a loss last week because Hoyer was playing and XSF wasn't. You're very similar to Pancakes. Gonna call you Waffles from now on.
Even if XSF is available to play the street FA pickups will start over him anyway. XSF is a non-factor.
So you're just waiting for him to fail against a good pass rush/defense so you can be proven right? Elite quarterbacks can struggle against good defenses that pressure quarterbacks. That's not gonna make you right. Hoyer looks fine and I hope he keeps it up. Go Texans
Pretty sad that someone would hope the Texans lose to be proven right on an agenda. I wouldn't call such a person a Texans fan
Um, the Dolphins JUST got Cam Wake healthy and he had 4 sacks last week. The new style defense they are running under the Interim coach is all about getting to the QB. They have struggled, but Suh and Wake can get to the QB. Def not an easy win. But your football IQ shows in your posts anyways.
Everybody thought he was a great pick. He was expected to go in the first round and was considered the best guard in the draft. Yeah, it looks like we were wrong about him, but pretty much everyone else was wrong too. We were just the unfortunate team to draft him. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=254563
We'll see, was that just the emotion of getting a new head coach combined with the awfulness that is the Titans or is it something more than that? Time will tell. If the Dolphins get a lot of pressure, then maybe we'll get a real test of Hoyer earlier than expected. He miserably failed his only real test so far this season, so for the sake of the team, I hope the O line holds out.
