Interested to see how the team comes out in a must win game. Do they fall all over themselves and self destruct like we've seen so many times or surprise us all and kick some butt.

Texans 4-0 all time vs Miami...all games decided late.

    Texans 27
    Dolphins 24

Last second FG wins it, Brown is loved again (the kicker Brown...other Brown tries to screw us again somehow).

Finally back on in Austin this week...though that's probably only due to the fact that the t*** are playing on Thursday.

So since this is essentially a playoff/elimination game for both teams, if the Texans win this, will any of you finally give the Texans credit for winning a "big/important" game?

I will. But let's not act like that credit is somehow long overdue at the time of this post. This will absolutely be their most significant win, if they win.

I've seen many people declare the Texans only get up/prepare for/play well in "meaningless games".

Despite what people have said that weeks 13, 14, 15 & 16 are "meaningless"... this game is anything *but* meaningless.

Not going to let people get away with that excuse.

    Texans win, Broncos lose.

All other 7-7 teams lose and week 17 comes down to Texans winning at 12 and Broncos losing at 3

5-0 all time vs Miami, Andre Johnson 5-0 all time vs his hometown team

They have no problem "getting up" for the important games, they just can't put a full game together and find a way to lose them all.

As far as the playoffs, I'm more worried about us winning out than scoreboard watching for unlikely scenarios.

Every time they have a must win game (colts, titans, jags) they lose.

They can beat the bad teams, but not the good teams.

The last two games were "must win".

It would take 4 or 5 teams to lose for the texans to make it. If they had won any of those games they would control their own destiny.

But you are right they had to beat the seahawks and rams and they did win a must win game.

Even though the Texans have won the four previous games against Miami, the combined victory margin has been only seven points. This game should be an extremely close game as well.

    Texans 16
    Dolphins 15

I hope Andre Johnson has a monster day in his hometown.

    Go Texans!

As far as Andre Johnson being the TOP reciever in the leauge goes, i dont have to say nothing becuz the stats and numbers do all the talking for me. 2nd. This coming game with the Fins, im not overlookin becuz we both have something to play for. Considering it is going to be in miami, our work is cut out for us. They are a very talented team, and could beat us. Enter Texans, one of the most potent and prolific offense in the leauge, backed by a tenasive Defense lead my Pollard and Ryans. We are not a joke either. Hopefully come sunday, Texans show up, and beat the phins, and continue our miracle run to the playoffs. Texans 27-21/ Andre J. 8rec 173yds.
