Yeah...you hear wrong, no one winning the presidency is a valid excuse for you acting like an ignorant child. Don't let anyone fool you.
I went over to a Colts forum to see what the vibe was like. Well they are finally starting to acknowledge that Luck is as much a part of the problem as he is a part of the solution. Oh well sucks for them...
I am a fan of the team. I am not a fan of the incompetence that is at the top of the organization. If you are excited about the Texans narrowly winning the worst division in football and getting curb stomped in their first (and only) playoff game, then enjoy. I would rather have a few 2-14 or 4-12 seasons with a promise of future progress than the Groundhog Day that is the Houston Texans circa 2016.
Hey let's take a chill pill or smoke a nice fat cigar and enjoy this wonderful victory. There is no need for all this back and crazy nonsense. So let's celebrate this great win, in a very hostel environment together like Texans brothers and sisters should.
Seriously. I mean the Texans just swept the Colts for the first time in franchise history and they now haven't lost in Indy since 2014 and all we have is b****ing. If you can't enjoy this win as a Texans fan, I just don't know what the hell is wrong with you.
I do see your points on an in-game situational basis, hold a drive here and there, don't fall apart late. Still "significant amount of points" means having to be close to elite. MANY more times the defense is closer to top 5 than the offense has been to even AVERAGE 19 TEAMS score league average and better. Texans are 9 SPOTS BELOW that . In more relatable analogy - Texans offense is like Ryan Anderson/Terrence Jones defense, near to or at the bottom. Ive never said Texans have to be an offensive power, just more adequate at #20 to keep pace. That still just puts them at a BOTTOM 1/3 offense in the league. How much kindergarten low bar can you give for a PLAYOFF contender and DIVISION winner?
You are a clown a bobby is a fool who doesn't know football. We should ignore him. He gives the offense a pass because "that is not how we are built to win", no one pays a quarterback 20 mills a year with a good running back and WR set to play like garbage
There's still a sizeable faction in Indy who strongly believe they should have kept Manning, traded the #1 pick for a kings ransom, and they could have reloaded and won at least one more SB with Manning obviously having something left in the tank.
Well I get what you are saying, but I think it's a lot more reasonable to expect the defense as currently constructed to hold teams a few points below league average than it is to expect this offense as currently constructed to be consistently average. On top of that, the Texans were expected to actually have an elite defense, and without the injuries they would have that and who knows what the offense would look like without all the injuries to the O line and with Nuk not struggling as much as he has. I think perhaps you need to re-adjust your expectations if you thought the Texans were so good they could lose multiple O linemen, arguably the best defensive player in the league, Kevin Johnson, Jonathan Joseph, Jon Simon.....I mean I could continue, and still be a championship contender. Right now, the Texans are playing to make the playoffs. That's the goal.
