meh, schaub was a glaring weakness, but weve known long enough that our pass rush from the outside has been non existent, our corners have been very inconsistant, oline has been swiss cheese, bad play-calling, and terrible special teams play.. combine all that with bad qb play from matt and weve been getting embarrassed.. since keenum took over weve still seen some of those weaknesses present but better qb play has had us in all the games weve lost with keenum. all 3 were winnable but poor execution result in losses..

The other thing is, a top five pick still leaves open the window to drafting a top QB, putting him behind Keenum for a year or two, and setting ourselves up for years to come. Keenum is cool and all, but he's basically Doug Flutie. Don't none of ya'll kid yourselves into thinking he'll transform into Brees who had the physical tools outside of his stature to garner the #1 pick of the 2nd round.

This year is a consensus great year for QB's. At worst, with a top 5 pick we could pull a St. Louis Rams from the year of Luck and RGIII and get 2-3 first round picks as well as other picks in the draft.

We have every incentive between now and January to maximize the pick we'll be getting come next May.

First time seeing as I had to listen on the radio.

Awesome catch!! Cardinals broadcasters said only a few receivers EVER could make either of Dre's TDs this game.

Only when people were pointing out 'other problems' when trying to defend Schaub's play. Lots of denial that he was one of those problems. Clear now that they were wrong.

Other Texans holes need to be addressed now. Hopefully coaching is next.

People need to stop saying this team has a lot of talent. The only big time/elite talent they have is JJ Watt and Andre Johnson at this point. Schaub had a full roster to work with when he was sucking but currently, Keenum flat out has a bad team around him. This team sucks other than Watt in the trenches. How can you win under those conditions??? You don't accidentally lose 7 in a row, you have to pretty much be a bad team to be where the Texans are at this point. Bob McNair needs to just clean house. No need for Kubiak to come back either to continue losing.

You know Schaub would have just thrown a pick 6

    So...what say you about...

Those ****ty throws at the end of the game (Last drive) had nothing to do with the Line play. Case had time. He took shots and wanted to make home run plays. But his throws were ALL out of bounds, the receivers didnt even have a chance. He wasted 2 out of 4 downs on terrible throws.

It wasnt a time out issue, and time wasnt running out. He made bad decisions, especially considering they were 3 points down and where they were on the field.

Oh but but at least the pick 6 would have be in bounds right? Not 10 yards out of the sidelines?

done with schaub even it was possible for him to come in and pull out this victory it would be for nothing. wanted to watch keenum sink or swim, invaluable experience against some really good defenses..

Heres hows the season plays out, Kubiak returns and the team plays .500 ball to salvage his job for yet another year. Now on to watch the more respectable Texas team The Boys. Sad Sad Sad.

You bailing on your boy Keenum already? Yeah he didn't play smart down the stretch with the home run plays but going back to Schaub at this point barring injury is just stupid. Let Keenum sink or swim at this point. The team flat out sucks around him at this point though.

Even in their current crappy state, the Texans have lost 3 games by a FG and 1 game by one point, two of those games coming against teams that are a combined 18-1. A small increase in the productivity of this team and they could easily be 6-3, leading the division, and in a pretty comfortable playoff position.

I honestly don't think it would take much to turn this team around.

Could've, should've, would've... good teams don't lose 7 in a row. This season is shedding great light on how many holes this team really had. I never thought this was a Super Bowl team, I did think they would at least make the playoffs again but that ain't happening either. Big changes need to be made to change the culture over there on Kirby before it turns into an extended period of suckiness again.

I said he needs to start over Schaub, I never said he was the end all be all QB of the future. We still need to address QB in the Draft.
