    Sad reality right here.

A good QB could sow us up quick though. No mas Schaub.

So what do the Texans have to do in order to make Wild Card? Is it too early?

Texans fans have depended on David Carr, then Matt Schaub.... 12 consecutive seasons!!!

    Sometimes you just gotta laugh.

I think it's cinch that Watt bolts for a winner when this contract is up.
It's guaranteed teams will break the bank for him, but if he thinks this team is rebuilding, he'll be history.

How is this team rebuilding? We have talent everywhere. A new head coach and a new QB is needed, that's it.

As long as the Texans cough up the dough, he will play here his entire prime years, probably retire a Texan.

Passing on him will haunt this franchise for a long time.

    you're kidding right?

I was a huge VY fan, and felt the Texans were making a mistake not drafting him. I was very clearly wrong.

I agree Vince Young is a proven winner. Just ask any Longhorns fan.

Seriously Gary Kubiak needs to grow a pair and send a message to Matt Schaub..
He will loose this team if he does not bench him... Especially after his comments
after halftime- Quote: Im more worry about the defense and sepcial teams
right now--- seriously Gary, your offense has given away more TD, than
what Schaub has thrown for.. you put the Defense in a tough bind everytime..

(Why not give a call to the Steelers or the Giants) see if they are willing
to atleast entertain the notion of trading Big- Ben or Eli) Not saying they
will, but they need to atleast give the call...

If not go out and sign someone(Vince Young) anyone, doesnt neccessary mean you
have to start them, but you need to send a message, that anyone is capable of loosing there job...
**Even after stating the above i know none of this will happen) and the
fans will be ignored as always...But DAMN how may damn pick 6's does a QB
get to throw, before benching him... (and im not talking about a bench him just the 4th qt on a game that was already lost.. If it was me i would have left Matt schaub play the 4th QT, make him suffer even more...

*** wow thanks for the site letting me take my anger out****

I think that ultimately, the bigger problem is with Kubiak. Changing the QB this year won't do anything. Yates and Keenum won't get the get job done. And I'm not sure Kubes could win the big one even with a true elite QB. There are problems that go deeper than Schaub's poor plan and they date back to last season. Some for Kubiak's whole tenure. This team is only 3-6 in it's last 9 regular season games.

Hockey coaches get fired mid-season all the time. My Flyers fired Peter Laviolette after 3 games this year. But that decision was based largely on previous years. They gave him a shot to start the season but gave him the quick hook when it was apparent things hadn't improved.

Sometimes I wish it was easier to make the same kind of move in football.
