It would be nice if we see the Mets and us in the WS since we both came into the majors in 1962.

I hope that acronym ceases to be a thing soon.

I'd rather Astros stop getting TOOTBLAN and have Ranger fans complain about the acronym as Astros fans won't need to use it.

No doubt. It's a great stat to keep track of, but that is the dumbest damn name I've ever heard. Surely we can do better.

DOOB - Dumbass Outs On Basepaths; though not all outs on the bases are dumb (the biggest fault with their methodology, would be tedious to get correct, case-by-case basis), so how about for accuracy and brevity's sake:

    OOB - Outs On Basepath

Doesn't matter now how crappy of a morning I've had. I get to watch baseball.

Kalas and Blum pair together so well. It's like watching a game with two cheesy dads. Great chemistry.

Maybe it's because it's the first time I've seen him in 10 years, but ******* did Matt Albers let himself go.

Disappointing ending to that first 4 game "road" trip of the season.

It was great seeing that. Can't wait till the actual season begins.

You think so? I don't think they have it yet and there's something about Kalas' voice that bugs me. Maybe because it's too good? I can't quite put my finger on it yet. Or, I just miss Bill Brown...

I think Kalas has a very exaggerated baseball voice but it seems authentic. I think the lack of Ashby is what got me excited. There seems to be a fun demeanor with the trio of Kalas/Blum/Morales (as well as a lack of sexual harassment).

No thanks, they've had enough of appearances for now (3 in my lifetime including 1 win, 5 overall with 2 wins).

LOL. Julia is thanking her lucky stars. Yeah, I like Kalas' voice, I like the low deep "boring" tone. Will miss the hell out of Brownie though.

Can't watch today so I'm only box score watching. Seems like Devo struggled a bit. Is he experimenting with something, resting his arm for the season...? Obviously, his start today isn't a legitimate concern, so I'm just curious.
