Yep... Gattis and 32 homers batting ninth. Still have Aoki, Marisnick, Gonzalez, etc. Might be the deepest team in Astros history?
Whooo. Got home late from work. Turned on the TV to see if the rockets played tonight. To my surprise Astros are on my TV! And beating the cubs too.... Even though I'm a meaningless game... Still feels good.
Man, that lineup we rolled out there last night. I can't wait to see a whole season of it. As @Rockets FTW said, how often do you see a team where the 9 hitter had 32 hrs in the prior year? My body is ready.
Beating the Champs will help the teams confidence. We should have a better start of the season than last year.
Excited to watch Musgrove's progression this year. Think he could establish himself as a really good mid rotation guy.
Yep he has to be a little worried about his job security. If they find anyone that can get a left handed hitter out, he should be replaced. When your lefty specialist can't get anyone out, it is a problem. 3 of 4 he faced today were left handed hitters. The one out he got was the righty.
He probably just needs to get low-leverage innings early in the year regardless of handedness. Maybe some success against some righties would boost his confidence.
