Today is a split-squad day for the Astros... they'll be taking on the Red Sox and the Braves. The following minor leaguers were assigned to the big club, per the transactions page on the team website:

    Kyle Tucker
    Alex De Goti
    Kevin Comer
    Randy Cesar
    Andrew Thome
    Ralph Garza Jr.
    Jason Martin
    Marlon Avea
    Nick Hernandez
    Brock Dykxhoorn
    Riley Ferrell
    Conrad Gregor
    Ryne Birk
    Drew Ferguson

Guessing the A-list pitchers are teaming with the minor league position players in Palm Beach and the A/B lineup has been partnered with the NRI/minor league arms as they head to Fort Myers to face the Sox.

Hunter Atkins appears to be Jake Kaplan's backup at the Chron.

Keuchel has thrown 4 scoreless. Excited for the bounceback.

Is Preston Tucker injured? I don't recall seeing him on any of the lineups this spring.

He's getting really creative with these injuries.

The one you should really care about is McHugh's dead arm. Nobody knows when he will start again.

Fisher just hit a HR... he's had a very good spring.

I am higher in him than most, should be ready to step in next season and either be the starting LF or first OF off the bench.

Fiers pitched great....5k in 4 innings and no runs in 2-1 win vs. the marlins.

I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do following a full off season plus spring training. Up until the power surge over the last few games he looked like Martin Prado with less plate discipline; which isn't a profile I want from my 1B on a championship contender.

Also Springer's first dinger of the preseason...followed up by a 3-run bomb by Gurriel. Brignanc is making it real hard to not keep him around.

Of course he does. I wonder if McTaggart knows the difference between real nachos and Sheriff Blalock's BS?

If Morton sits 95 consistently throughout the season he has the stuff to be a top of the rotation starter. Man.
