My friend is offering me: Doug Martin and the Cardinals for Gore and the Chiefs Or Doug Martin and Heath Miller for Julius Thomas I'm thinking the first one is a very good trade for me. My other RB is Adrian Peterson.
Think so? I have Gore in the line up cause the Cowboys defense is putrid so I like the 9ers to put up lots of points. The Cowboys offense is pretty damn good though so I figure Gore should still be getting touches late. Carolinas defense on the other hand was one of the best last season, not sure if they lost any key players.
Aren't the Cardinals supposed to have a weak defense this year? Rotoworld blurb from August 18th: Having lost Dockett, Daryl Washington, and Karlos Dansby from last year's front seven, the Cards could field a legitimately bad defense in 2014.
My RB's and WR's: QB Cam Newton (Car - QB) Torrey Smith (Bal - WR) LeSean McCoy (Phi - RB) DeMarco Murray (Dal - RB) Alfred Morris (Was - RB) Keenan Allen (SD - WR) Carlos Hyde (SF - RB) Chris Johnson (NYJ - RB) Justin Hunter (Ten - WR) Kelvin Benjamin (Car - WR) We start 2 RB's, 2 WR's, and one Flex (RB/WR). I need a WR1, I'm currently being offered Antonio Brown and Jordy Nelson, for Demarco and Allen. It definitely helps my WR's but I'm not sure if I should accept it, because of what it does for my RB's. Should I take the trade?
Don't really care too much about their D I'll probably be picking a different team every week. I'm just looking at this as a straight up Martin for Gore trade.
Why are you so high on Gore? In all my yahoo pro leagues, Martin has been going in the late 2nd/early 3rd round. Gore has been going in the 5th or 6th.
I think unless your team has some serious holes, the winner of the trade is whomever gets the "best" player and Martin would be the prize in this trade. Go for it.
I would do that trade. Murray is an injury risk and always at risk to see limited touches. Jordy and Brown are stud WRs. Plus you still have McCoy and Morris and CJ is not a bad flex/injury play at all.
current TE is Ladarius Green and other RBs in a 2RB/2flex league: Ryan Mathews Le'Veon Bell Bishop Sankey Knowshon Moreno
Should I start Randall Cobb (@Seattle) or Jeremy Maclin (vs. Jacksonville)? My gut says Cobb will get targets if Sherman covers Jordy, but that is the toughest possible road game to open a season with.
Then no, I wouldn't make that trade. You need as many fliers as possible when it comes to unproven guys. And between Knowshon, Ryan Mathews, and ESPECIALLY Bishop Sankey; you don't know exactly what you're going to get. Jimmy is obviously a substantial upgrade over Ladarius, but I'm not sure if it's worth losing all your proven RB talent for. But that's just me.
I think Latimer, go ahead and pick him up before somebody else does but keep an eye out for Caldwell. Doubt anyone gets him, but Denver hasn't actually named who will start I don't think
