How can you not start Jennings after he has scored 2 touchdowns in each of the past 2 games? Don't overthink it. Despite great matchups--Crabtree and Todman are both risky. Todman not as risky since he is a RB who will get his touches--I would play him in certain circumstances. I'd go Dalton at QB but they all have great matchups so I'd rate them all about the same. It's a matter of preference--Dalton has the highest per-game average, though.
ok this is for the championship, can you give me advice please, I will give rep. league is .5 PPR QB Tom Brady @ BAL Joe Flacco vs NE Going with Brady, even its a tough matchup RB Matt Forte @PHI Gio Bernard MIN Bobby Rainey @STL Chris Ivory vs CLE No doubt here, Forte and Gio WR Jordy Nelson vs PIT Deandre Hopkins vs DEN Alshon Jeffrey @PHI Julian Edelman @BAL Michael Crabtree vs ATL def, going with Alshon, and leaning towards Edelman TE Jason Witten @WSH Julius Thomas @HOU leaning to Witten FLEX Any W/R/T Im undecided about Julius Thomas (@HOU) or Crabtree (ATL) DEFENSE Browns @NYJ Dolphins @BUF Both have nice matchups, still thinking. KICKER Dan Bailey Thanks in advance!
QB--If Cousins, Dalton or Cutler are sitting in free agency, think about starting them over Brady. Baltimore has been stopping QBs pretty well since Peyton lit them up week 1. Plus Gronk being out does not help. Don't even think about Flacco... RB-Rainey and Gio are close, but I'd go Gio in this spot. And obviously Forte. WR-Edelman and Jeffery are the right choices here. TE-Very close between Thomas and Witten. When in doubt go with the player who has a better season average--which is Julius Thomas. I think Manning will be motivated to beat a cruddy Houston team after losing last week, and everyone will get touchdowns. Witten had 3 catches for 27 yards last time against the Redskins so he is a little more risky. Flex-I'd probably go Jordy Nelson here. Jason Witten just missing the cut. Def-Definitely go Browns against the Jets. I love that matchup.
Jimmy Graham or Julius Thomas? I know it's a tough defense. The main issue is my opponent has Peyton going, so should I try to nullify him somewhat?
I know Jimmy had a bad game last week, but you don't bench the top TE in the game for any reason. With Peyton's options you really can't nullify him much. The last couple weeks have been Caldwell or Decker.
Pick 1 QB: Russell Wilson (vs. Arizona) Kaepernick (vs. Atlanta) Pick 2 RB: Moreno (vs. @Houston) Jordan Todman (vs. Titans) Dennis Johnson (vs. Denver) Woodhead (vs. Oakland) Pick 1 Flex: James Jones (vs. Steelers) or any above not chosen Pick 1 Defense: Rams (vs. Bucs) Carolina (vs. Saints) Cincy (vs. Vikings) Lions (vs. Giants)
Rams D gets picks and pressure. They're great at home so I think they should be able to put up fantasy points against an inconsistent Bucs team.
Brees @ Carolina or Cousins vs that **** Cowboys D? Money on the line is telling me play it safe and Im facing a monster team. Gut says play Cousins.
Brees road stats are average at best. Cousins had a great matchup last week and took full advantage. Plus the guy I'm facing has Carolina D so any Brees turnovers would be double points for him. He does have Jimmy Graham, but I really don't think I can beat him without a strong day from my QB. Me: Cousins Knowshon R Bush Megatron Djax Gio Bernard Flex Prater Rams D Him: Cam Newton Lynch J Charles Steve Smith James Jones Jim Graham Flex D Akers Carolina D He has an advantage at RB, but my WRs make up for it. I need production everywhere to counter his studs.
Saints got a new kicker this week in Shayne Graham. Hopefully he'll put up a bunch of points against that D. Saints are also starting a rookie in his first game at LT though. Cousins should be fine, but there's a small part of me that's expecting him to have his first true dud of a game. That's just my gut; my head is telling me the opposite bc of the Cowboy's terrible defense, and Cousins getting the ball out fast and leading receivers well. I feel the unease too. I'm up against Peyton, Megatron, AJ80, Le'Veon, Ryan Matthews, and Tony Gonzalez. I'm gonna need Rashad Jennings to have a big day and the Raiders D to step up.
You guys see any scenario where Edelman will have a bigger day than Demaryius Thomas? For some reason I see the Broncos getting up big early and their WRs not doing much overall. I need three WRs and I have Josh Gordon, D Thomas, Keenen Allen, Kendall Wright and J Edelman. Plus, I have Z Stacy, Rainey and Todman at RB and I need two. These are toughest choices today for the 'ship.
Gents, I'm in the championship game!!! Standard format league... who should I start? QB - Kap or Nick Foles (could be a meaningless game if Dallas wins) Flex - Julius Thomas or Bobby Rainey Thanks!!
Gonzales, and the Niners D won me the championship in Yahoo this year. Awesome win. Was down by 20 something and ended up barely winning it tonight. Cool story bro
Rudy Gay, Larry Sanders, or Thaddeus Young? Who has the biggest upside for the rest of the season? Young is a free agent so I'm considering picking him up by dropping one of the other two...thoughts?
Last week. Need to bring it home. I won last week 113-96 Any changes that I should make? Starters: A. Dalton L. McCoy M. Forte A. Johnson P. Garcon J. Graham Flex: Julius Thomas D: 49ers K: Justin Tucker Bench: M. Ryan J. Nelson D. Amendola K. Thompkins Colts D Donald Brown K. Cousins Any changes I should make?
